NIntendo will never make into into the "xbox/playstation" market. They'll still sell well.....but they're basically a separate market now appealing to a separate demographic. They lost me a LONG time ago.

Halo will last if they sustain a competitive scene. Just like CounterStrike and COD, etc. As long as game has a good competitive scene, it has longevity....because it becomes like a sport with a good solid framework. Rather than gimmicks and "sales."

Most devs rely too much on the cut scenes to tell the story though. That's definitely true in modern games.
