actually she was as she now runs all of ubisoft toronto, I doubt the game design decisions were her but she was definitely the executive producer and fulfilled those roles
as far as i know the multiplayer beta is an open beta availible to all on ps3, that's the impression I got from the press conference
The art style is great, and yet after that demo i'm still not sold on the 1-1 ness of this game
I'm much more interested in the multiplayer as I always thought the concept would be great for it, and I've never played any of the other games aside from brief tastes, so when the multiplayer beta comes out, i'll have to check it out, good to see they made the combat more offensive though, definitely upside there
It's very good to see them heading in the direction of realism as well as pretend play
I'm so hoping he busts out a poncho, that would win the show right there
oh i agree completely microsoft was so underwhelming that as long as sony sticks to their gaming guns and doesnt spend too much time trying to sell move and 3d, they should walk away with the hardcore gamer vote
@rumor
you gotta admit though, she was the only one whose enthusiasm seemed real, everything else was so fake and forced
That's the whole problem, is they didn't show any games for kinect that people want and were missing most notably crackdown 2
I don't know if it did, I'm certainly not running out to buy one, especially given the complete lack of future product outside of natal they displayed that I wasn't already aware of. 1 game that is 2011 and nothing else, no crackdown 2, no big reveals, no xbla content, nothing, but things to try and get the mainstream. Personally I think it was poorly targeted and a big mistake
btw everything shoots up on amazon when it's announced/new
very much the case, all in all a massive disappointment, was hoping for something that would say kinect is hardcore, and that never came
solid interview, quite interesting to learn about all the things developers go through and do when they come up with their ideas.
I'd guess they will if the sales of modnation racers exceeds expectations
it's irrelevant until the next gen when another engine needs to be built, until then they just keep working off the current one
i've been pumped for this game since i first heard about it, glad to see it getting such solid scores
because the pc game is insanely good looking, and aside from the really poor AI, everything else can be ignored easily enough
it really is a personal taste thing as to whether you're looking for epic moments or just high quality throughout
map packs have been to expensive for a long time now, but people were willing to pay, imo 1 dollar a map is more then enough, especially seeing as they almost never create new assets for them
if this were 10 dollars i could see it but 15 is a little high for the DL space still imo
It seems like this isn't the thing developers should be trying without dedicating serious effort into taking advantage, a lot of the problems with this game seem to be developer laziness if i'm reading the review correctly
