I'm glad to see them trying out the city scape type races instead of in the middle of no where as a third game in that style might've easily become old
I don't know if you can get any twitchier then UT without making it virtually unplayable, especially on PS3/360
As someone who used to be a massive fan of this, I will seriously have to consider getting this on PC at some time in the near future
I'm very intrigued if they can turn this awesome concept into a full game
@elementX
I believe the point that JDouglas was trying to make was not directly related to the game design itself and more related to the fact that Warren Spector is again taking the lead in design and doing something that hasn't been done before. I mean seriously when can you think of a game like epic mickey
From the videos I've seen this game is only going to get deeper and better, can't wait for the next edition of it
These games are always kind of awkward and i'm a little worried about the franchise going to far out of it's roots and immatating modern games too much
also because there has been 2 forza's since the last GT, which means fans of GT are getting antsy and all news is big news
RTS? what, hasn't it always been a first person shooter
well the preview made it sound like they were doing a LBP style thing but with 2 levels, that still worries me as a lot of the awesome of the SNES games were the barrel jumping segments
Capcom will never figure out a satisfactory control scheme for this game, they butchered the design of the RE4 with zapper on the Wii, although the controls if you didn't use the zapper were quite good
I'm very unsure on this one, DK was a classic but it was only really great in 2d, and i'm very curious to see how this ends up working out
The art style is magnificent and it's kinda surprising that this type of thing has never been tried before. It's also great to see the revival of Kirby as a console franchise
that's risky I think, I really don't understand how they could do it and keep it balanced but if it works it could be really good
I'd love to go and try this at a demo just so I could have the expensive wheel and all that tech when I tried it out, instead of just the controller and a normal tv
well they got rid of the walking around crap in exchange for this coma story and car jumping system, which seems like a much better, much cooler idea
I'm very interested in this game mainly due to the jumping between cars ability and the fact that they explain it in a way that kinda makes sense, although it will definitely be interesting to see if He wakes from the coma at the end of the game, like he had to complete his mental mission to reawaken
Well if you're not a fan of Football then this is hardly going to make you a fan
I guess that's the point, nothing I'd ever like to do, but in the days of really complex play calling and route running, realism makes it too hard for the casual madden player to fully comprehend, this would make it much easier, at least they hope
Definitely an intriguing concept, will have to check out the beta, which I have to assume they'll have
