Looks amazing. I admit I was kind of on the fence about whether to get this game or not but now there's no way I'm missing on this.

All your ''reasons'' for hating the X720 are bull and made up because we know nothing about it. You just assume that all the negatives and only the negatives about the 360 automatically translate into the 720 and yet none of the PS3 negatives translate in the PS4, only the PS3 positives: this is clear fanboyism. Well obviously if they are holding their own separate show that they are hosting themselves (and not a GDC, etc) it's because they have enough content for both. They wouldn't create their own show if they weren't confident in what they are going to show.
For instance, in the last 3 years, MS has created/bought 6 studios, all of which are reportedly working on next-gen content, so I'm sure they'll have enough content.

''Dead last'' is for competition that is last place after a ''very poor showing''. Maybe you're a fanboy or something, but I wouldn't call 76 million sales as a ''very poor showing''. You can't deny that the Xbox 360 was a great success, especially compared to the original Xbox's 24 million sales. It's last but don't call it dead last, which would imply a complete failure.

Hopefully not. And many people overlook the fact that MS has opened 6 studios in the last 2 years! SIX! MS Soho, MS Redmond, MS Victoria, Black Tusk Studios, Skybox Sports, and MS Los Angeles.
I'm sure they'll have much more exclusives next gen. The fact that the PS3 has outsold the 360 almost every year has certainly not gone unnoticed at Microsoft and I'm sure that next gen MS will be more of a competition when it comes to exclusives, which is why they have sudd...

Lol a game appearing on a platform shouldn't be considered for the category of best game for that platform. Anyway, you need to realise that besides people on N4G, no one really cares about exclusives, just sayin.

Because they're still 360 and PS3 games. Best 360 and PS3 games isn't about the best exclusive, it's about the BEST game (if not it would be called best exclusive game)
And besides, this year on the exclusive sides wasn't too interesting either. For example, practically no PS3 exclusive besides Journey even broke the 80 metascore mark, so why would they be considered in a Best game category? ...

I believe the show is trying to get gaming recognized as a major part of the entertainment industry, and having celebrities from the music/movie scene does that.

Those are not in game. Like IHateYouFanboys said, the resolution are 2560x1440. It is a resolution impossible on any video game system. Heck, no TVs can even display such resolution.

It's about 2012 not having any fresh new IPs, all publishers prefering doing more sequels and reboots than taking a risk with new ideas.
I see you didn't take the time to read the article. The person is saying how of all the big games releasing in 2012, none of them are new IPs, all of them being reboot or sequels.

Hmm one bite and it's game over? I like the realistic factor about this game but I think that on harder difficulties it will be a drag to restart over and over again. Still really excited about this game.
