I am thankful for living in a great country where I have such a high quality of life and not have to worry about war, hunger, and for my family who supports me.
My understanding is that they probably wanted the game to come out before Black Friday. On the 17th it would have collided with Stars Wars, and a week earlier too close to BO3 or Halo 5, and on the 24th it may have been a little too close. The game only went gold like 2 (3?) weeks ago, so they may have not had a lot of choice.
PlayStation official twitter mentions Fallout 4, no one bats an eye. Xbox official twitter mentions Star Wars Battlefront everyone loses their minds!!
Depending on the specifics of the deal, maybe exclusive marketing only meant TV adds. I don't think twitter messages counts as marketing, if not they would not have done it
That's a great commercial, almost makes me want Battlefront. Almost.

"He's saying all the things sheep want to hear". Umm you mean he's DOING all fans want him to do.. What exactly is bad with that? Oh no, he is listening to fan feedback! The monster!!
I think their 2016 is better

If you fall for the PR strategies of Crackdown, you lose, but if you fall for the PR strategies of No Man's Sky, that's perfect!
If you don't want it don't get it. It's that simple. Plenty will want to play it. No need to write unnecessary articles
That's because Sony didn't renew the trademark for The Last Guardian a few weeks ago, and then it had a change of heart and renewed it. Preorders for TLG were probably cancelled and then reinstated soon after.
Yes it happened ONCE so it is always going to happen again! The future is unmovable! Flawless logic right here

What is the difference between buying a studio, and then funding said studio to make exclusive games (Sony) vs Microsoft directly funding a third-party studio to make games and skipping the part where they buy the studio? In the end, new games that would not exist are funded. Phil Spencer also had confirmed that with the games they publish themselves, they secure exclusivity through funding, so it's not ''buying out', games.

street Fighter IV sales on ps3: 4:00 million
street fighter IV sales on xbox 360: 2.81 million
41% sales of SFIV were on Xbox. That is far from ''hardly anyone''

Tomb Raider was shown at ùmicrosoft's conference and no platforms were listed. People only assumed it was exclusive. In fact, at MS's conference, right after the Tomb Raider trailer, there is the green Xbox One/Microsoft logo, which is usually shown after exclusive games

You can see it after the Tomb Raider trailer at 1:07:00. Of course, it did not confir...
The funny thing is that TR was NEVER announced as multi. They NEVER said this game was Ps4, x1 and Pc, only the fans supposed it would be. The only statement they ever gave was in late 2013 when they said that a Tomb Raider sequel was in work for 'next-generation consoles'. And before you think that this means PS4/PC too, it doesn't necessarily. This just means that work had begun, but the publisher is not ready to announce the platforms. It happens all the time. E.g Remedy Entert...

Tomb Raider was not extremely successful. It was in fact a 'disappointment' in sales early on.

It did finally managed to turn out a profit but it took a relatively longer time. And it was naver confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider was in development for PS4. Square Enix has never made official comment about that. The only thing I can find is them saying in late 2013 that a Tomb Raider sequel was in w...
That's a load of bullshit. Microsoft can't make shipments if the retailers are not buying them. And retailers won't buy new shipments as long as the old shipments have not mostly sold through. So logically, if MS have high shipments, if it selling well. Lol and you're implying MS is holding retailers at gunpoint forcing them to accept shipments? Haha
@aceitman
The sales of november 1st are actually from october 25th to november 1st. They said in the article the pricecut became effective November 2nd. We'll have to wait a bit longer to be sure.
All I want from Black Friday is an Xbox One so I can finally enter the current gen play Rise of the Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat X, Ori and the Blind Forest!
