The PS4 was designed by developers, and is loved by every developer who's been asked. Sony could charge $600 again (unlikely) and still have an awesome gen.
More complex and interesting stories drive away sales from idiots. To make money, EA needs to pander to the 'MURICA! Fck yeah! - crowd. And as we all know, EA is about squeezing as much money as possible out of something.

Bioshock Infinite' is great, but it's a different kind of great.

Yup. This really was the only thing that tablet/phone games had over consoles anyway.(you could say portability but Vita will remote play all PS4 titles)

Remote play was pretty much why I bought a Vita. When Sony reneg'd on that feature I was so pissed 'cus I wasn't lucky enough to have custom firmware. I won't let that happen again.

Thing though is that PS4's recording chip will be able to take (lossless?) recordings of your gameplay without affecting the actual framerate or performance of the game itself.
On PC, recording your footage (let alone at 60FPS) on highest settings makes your ability to play the game suffer. Respect for PS4 - it might be able to do what my $1500 from 2011 can't.
