Well I too was gonna give Xbox Next a chance, even though I wasn't gonna get one. I mean like recommending it to friends who are MP junkies and don't have the brainpower for Story-Focused awesomeness.
Because Xbone will spy on everyone, outdoing even Google, I'm not gonna even recommend it to anyone.

Now now...the original xBox was nothing to make fun of. I had a blast playing Halo:CE and Halo 2 with my cousins. 360 and One are the lesser children of a failing legacy.

We all know PS4 will bring the games. Sony doesn't make that mistake anymore; there will be many and Indie for the dry spots.
So...I'm actually a bit worried about PS4 having too few apps and social streamlining. I'd love it if it had a Twitter/Facebook/Vine/ HellICouldGoOnForever apps for free. But having Skype somehow would be killer. Or VSee, or even a knockoff as long as it would work on PCs as well. But rea...
Sony listens to their customers and usually comes through when the voice is loud enough. We CAN make a difference, well said!

Firmware in the PS4 could potentially detect when a currently not-installed game is put in and then refuse to play/run/install it until an internet connection is established.

It's too late for Micro$oft.
They have demonstrated that they have the technology and the intentions to use it.
Even if they "turned it off" or promised not to use it, no one worth their gamerscore would believe them.
The damage is done.
It doesn't take one button to pause because the unit is frequently sleeping while listening to music. To pause it, you must a) wake it b) put in your passcode c) hit pause.
Who the hell wants to mute music SO IT KEEPS PLAYING and you miss the good part of the song instead of pausing it? Then you gotta go back and rewind the song every time you muted it because you had to MUTE it when someone interrupted you. MUTE should PAUSE.
And about the cameras, I mea...
Meh, I'll be interested in one if/ever it gets 4G and removes the WiFi requirement for Netflix/Skype/Multiplayer/Etc
Pushing both volume buttons needs to PAUSE music, not MUTE it. That's just dumb.
Oh, and drop in a camera and features like they put into their Xperia products. That's a big one.
