The trailer was simply sped up 2x to simulate 60fps, or so it seemed to me. Therefore it is a deceptive simulation, since we are seeing the actions themselves sped up by the same rate - which might make some feel they dislike the effect.
Double-the-frames does not mean double the speed (of the presentation). They would simply have to tessellate the animation data to compensate, at most, though they probably don't need to since their raw motion-capture data is sufficient. ...
