The only new PlayStation I want before 2013 is a PlayStation Vita.
Man, I'm itching to get a Vita!
Cool. Now let me use two touch-screens at once, give me a HDD (160 gig would be enough), and let me play my Blu-ray/DVD library on it and...
BAM!! I'll buy one.
My Wii had some great games...but generally gathered dust for not having the above. Nintendo, I believe in you; make it happen!
@ pangitkqb
WELL SAID. Wii U = Nintendo not likely getting $$ from me next gen...and I'm a nintendo fan!!!
:( This is a sad turn of events.
Personally...I can't WAIT for the Vita :D
@ Theyellowflash30
And wouldn't it have been nice if you didn't HAVE to spend the extra $200? I can get a brand new Ps3 now for $299 and have a 160 HDD included.
I understand the new controller isn't supposed to be portable. I can simply wish it was.
You don't have to agree.
I"m extremely excited for U3. With Naughty Dog's credibility I'm not surprised to see the character models being improved.
Judas Priest. The Wii U is really starting to disappoint.
1) The new, fancy controller is useless if you take it away from the console. I would have LOVED to see some independent function.
2) No HDD
3) Friend codes shouldn't return in any form.
I've gone from very excited to not buying. I love you, Nintendo, but this round you have lost me.
Zinkabass.... you are wrong.
Destructoid is not my fav, but I prefer them to Edge. A 3 for Socom 3 is a bit ridiculous.
As for Duke Nukem...the quality of the game is disappointing, but...how many really did believe it would be different? Just my two cents.
@ likedamaster
Please don't tell other people what to post. Please, thank you. (Do you see the irony in me even saying this?) This is an open forum.
Back on topic...whether or not I agreed with the things Hilary Goldstein said, I always felt like he was genuinely passionate about gaming. That means something to me as a gamer.
@ Menech
You say that the Line against piracy should be drawn at those that profit from other peoples work. What about those whose pirating abilities keep creators that should be profiting from enjoying the full fruits of their honest labors?
If I pirate a game and make that pirated file available to the world for free I don't profit a dime, but the million pirated copies I enable sure cost that same hard-working developer plenty of money, simply beca...
Having spent 12 hours on Crysis 2 I can tell that this Site/reviewer fail to understand what constitutes Video Game quality.
I don't feel that Crysis 2 is a 10/10 game, but it is clearly a cut above the average of the genre. A 5.69 indicates mediocrity at its best and Crysis 2 is clearly not that.
@ mrv321
The "fake handbag" argument is a poor one at best.
1) Fake handbags are not given out free to millions, unlike piracy 2) A product is still being created (somebody has to buy the material and pay to put it together) 3) Money is still exchanged by two willing parties.
Any legalities in regard to "fake goods" is the use of brand names without owner permission. It's illegal, but at least a product is being crea...
I love the Killzone series. I would be happy to see a Killzone 4. Would also love to see a new IP.
Amazon has been stepping up their game. I'm glad to see it.
Back, BACK YOU BEAST! Get back under your bridge!
@Pogibaldy - You sir, are on to something; if you don't like Activision or Call of Duty: Black Ops, don't buy it. There is no reason to create a bunch of negative comments about the series for months to come, cluttering forums and making it difficult for those that feel different.
How many months (years?) have people been ranting and raving about this? If someone doesn't like it, do they really nee...
Remember when Hulu was available FOR FREE ON THE PS3 BROWSER? Now they want to charge $10 for less content WITH ADS. Really?
This article sums it up well: Netflix or Hulu Plus? Your Gaming Dollar

Here's hoping it's got a healthy online community.
Gah! I can't wait!
The problem is both time and money. I work, I have a wife, I have bills to pay. The limited time I have for gaming is something I don't want to squander.
Yes, there are certainly "diamonds in the rough" that are better than reviews concluded, but how do I find them without risking a lot of $$ and wasting time? The sad truth is that many "bad" and "average" games are just that; bad and average. Any time or money spent with those trying to ...
