Here here! These are classics. Nice to see the whole game being discussed, not just the ending.
The jetpack level in Killzone 3. Hopping from iceberg to iceberg with a heavily armed jetpack killing Hellgahst? Yes please.
@ Kurt Russell
I love your mullet. Big trouble in little china was an awesome movie.
On topic, if they are screwing ovr consumers, they get what they deserve.
I have zero interest in an Apple Console.
So this isn't a story about the Wii U Hardware. This is a piece about the Nintendo Network trying to compete with PSN and Xbox Live.
He raises interesting points. Xbox Live and PSN have been worked on and improved for years. Nintendo is just joining the full online world of gaming.
I'm interested to see what happens.
While the piece is revealing and effectively points out the unreasonable bias many 'hrdcore' gamers have against the 3DS, the question of cost remains. I'm confident the 3Ds will offer great games and unique experiences, but enough to justify taking money from my new PS3/Xbox game fund? Like the average Joe, I only have certain funds available. With so many gaming options out there for systems I already own, I'm hard pressed to risk extra money on something so much less sure ...
Screw this dickhead. He got what he deserves.
That's a good point, lelo. I want a freakin' Vita, but the inevitable redesign, combined with the higher than expected entry price (all things considered),I may have to wait.
@ Dante
Good to know. Thanks for the links my friend.
I love me some Warhawk! I gotta get in this beta.
Dante's question is good. Anybody have an answer? I have my suspicions this won't be allowed though.
I would LOVE a 3rd Infamous. Festival of blood was freakin' awesome.
ideally press is the segeue between production and consumption in the games world, the middle man that brings it all together. When it falls apart at the seems like it did yesterday on IGN is when we see the industry functioning poorly.
The title of this piece reminds of that song by Power an 5000. Had a great vid.
I love Indie games, but I must admit that "AAA" games are often a safer purchase considering my limited fundage. Big games cost more, but they tend to offer more playtime, bigger communities, and are less likely to disappoint.
Thi s doesn't mean I avoid Indie games, cuz i love many of them, I'm just more cautious with my purchases.
You should give PC gaming a try. It took me a while to master the whole keyboard/mouse control style, but now I'm hooked. I still love my consoles, but man, I love the new world PC gaming has opened to me.
Can't wait for this game! I'm more of a PC gamer, but these exclusives keep bringing me back to my PS3 :) kudos to Naughty Dog!
kevnb,
I think you are making a lot of assumptions about the guy. His one game? He mentions several. I can add to his list too, if you'd like, but it will be a long list if we actually wrote down all the recent multiplats that were either released later, shipped with game-halting glitches, or missing features on PC. The point isn't to complain, it's to try and encourage change.
And yes, he's obviously wrong that improvements to multiplatform ...
Jimineyscrickets - As someone that only rarely dabbles in PC gaming, mods don't mean much to me. But I see why they would to somebody like you, so i don't blame you for leaning to the PC version.
As for me, I'm getting it tonight on my Ps3. My bro has a 360 so I'm texting the recommendation to him now as well.
Pretty cool Crytek got it on console. Even cooler it actually performs so well.
I'm stoked.
I feel the same. Stoked to get more co-op on!
