To be honest who is surprised by the news that a game on GP will sell less copies? The writing was on the wall since day 1 regarding this because your average person will go "Hmmm...I could pay £50+ for this game or I can pay £2 for a service that lets me play this game."

@ravens52 I played the demo which is the vertical slice that the developers/ publishers decided represented their game best. If this game is vastly different from the demo then the devs/ publishers provided to the consumer then that's their fuck up

At this point "going open world" is just a marketing trick to make you think you're getting more for your money when in reality is just a bloated map with nothing in it. Give me a smaller world with more focused content any day over the average Ubisoft open world game
Might want to hold off for a bit if your playing it on PC, I gave it a go last night on PC gamepass and the PC performance is terrible, from what I experienced at least. Can't comment on the Xbox version though

I found it quite weird how they had Luke Skywalker show up at the end of Mando season 2 to pick up Grogu rather than having Kal do it instead, by the end of the first game he was actively looking for jedi and it makes sense to me to use an actor that is actually available to play the part rather than bringing in a de-aged Luke Skywalker once again.
I guess we'll see in the new game what he has been up to in the...
I don't get how you can say GoW:R was more of the same while saying that ER deserved the win in the same sentence. Both games were more of the same, Elden Ring is another Souls/Borne game with little to no changes to the formula at all.
I seriously struggle to see what was so innovative about Elden Ring at all besides how there is now a horse in it

Don't need Battlefront 3, just fix the servers for Battlefront 2 and we're good. Since removing the MTs BF2 has become a phenomenal game that sadly is hard to play these days due to shitty server support. It's Titanfall 2 all over again
If it worked with the PC and it had native support for PS4 PSVR titles I could potentially justify that price but right now that is a hard sell.
Imagine if Respawn (specifically the Titanfall 2 group of devs) made a Halo game

I agree, the Firaxis XCOM games brought in such a replayable gameplay loop that is so addicting. I've lost count of how many times I've booted up XCOM Enemy Unknown and 2 just to experience the organised chaos of the gameplay
I've said it once and I'll say it again, it looks good but not £70 worth of good, if it was £45 or £40 I'd be all for this but I simply am not paying full price for what is essentially a visual overhaul of a game that already got a remaster.
