When people talk about an "evil" playthrough in BG3 they always refer to the "murder hobo" style of play. That's such a basic and boring version of evil so no wonder it feels unrewarding. If "killing people" is your final definition of evil, I'm sorry but you're basic. There are a myriad of ways to be evil in BG3 that are rewarding and fun to do raging from manipulating events so only you come out on top, stealing, pushing others to do your dirty work...
Short term, not much. Long term we'll either end up in a bidding war for publishers until one company buys out the other or triple A gaming will somehow get worse with the emphasis on games as a subscription service titles to prob up platforms like Game Pass and PS+ Premium until we get the gaming equivalent of the streaming wars and my favourite hobby begins to die a slow and pitiful death
The one that gets my goat is NPCs that basically won't shut up until you move forward. I wanna look around an area without hearing "over here" for the upteen time in a row.
Bonus points for annoyance if it's an RPG
First mod I often install on any game is one to remove weight limits
Weapon degradation can be a fun mechanic if done properly, for example it really fits well in Metro Exodus but more often than not you get it in games like Breath of the Wild where it takes away from the experience.
I would love nothing more than a remaster of the Jak series, including Jak X
I keep trying to get into this game but I get so tilted, it's like Tarkov all over again for me. Why do I love games that make me angry
Welcome to "Modern Gaming"
0 days without sony hacking incident
This is the corporate equivalent of getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar and saying "it wasn't me"
I didn't hate the story but I wasn't a fan of how it was told, the switch half way through from Ellie to Abby was a massive momentum killer for me. It's one of those games where it's great to reflect upon and think about the themes but in that moment it's almost like starting over again and that's just not satisfying.
Didn't he shoot himself at the end of 4?
If I remember this correctly, Didn't Kojima want to stop after 3 but was then convinced to do 4 and then was convinced to do 5. I'm under the impression he didn't want to do MGS anymore
Vasco would likely be the spock in this scenario
Too many eggs not enough baskets
They must be hurting for cash because I would assume that Gearbox would be a money maker with the Borderlands series
I tried to live life without a credit card but unfortunately a lot of things in life require a credit score. Best practise is to have a credit card but only use it sparing and when you NEED to.
The spaceflight is pretty fun and engaging. I like how you have to manage power flow to different systems and space combat feels pretty good. Ground combat on the other hand sucks, I might invest in a melee build because gunplay in this game feels so poor and the non-existent AI doesn't help things
Don't get it, Starfield is easily a 7/8 out of 10. Spaceflight is great, exploration is alright and combat is garbage. This is a fine RPG at best but in no way is it even in the top 3 of games Bethesda has made let alone top 3 games of all time.
It has been nice to hop back onto Infinite and actually have fun without needing to grind out challenges in the 3 available game modes they had on release. There's still work that needs to be done for sure but with all the new playlists and custom games and forge tools it's sure as hell a big step in the right direction.
Biggest thing working against Infinite at this point is bringing people back
