I think PC is a given for BFBC2, more players, better controls (can also use controller), better graphics...
Did you just say Mass Effect was HOME with guns!?!?!
Is that PS3 fanboyisem, or just my misunderstanding?
Method : "Actually this list is horrible. They list AvP and Elemental War of Magic, 2 games being developed by teams with very poor track records"
AVP maybe, but I believe there is some confusion due to rebellion having multiple dev teams, but Stardock!?!?! Sins of a Solar Empire, and Galactic Civilisations 2 not ring any bells?
PC version is $10 cheaper to start with anyway?
But I can think of plenty of games with better graphics. Anyhow, I'm buying it for the story and gameplay.
I don't know whether the PC version supports AA and it was disabled, or if the 360 will support AA. But given they both run similar DX9 software, but PC's can have much better hardware, I suspect if 360 has AA, then PC has AA.
Good job for not taking advantage of the more powerful system?
But even I find some of the stupid comments on here, well, stupid ;P
I don't see the point, or course PC looks better, mostly due to the much higher resolution which can't really be seen, and the screen are pretty poor quality as said above.
just how close or far away you have to sit, resolution is everything, and even a 19" will be playing at 900p, something you won't be seeing on a PS3. Resolution makes the game looks better, and has gameplay advantages.
How does this differ to a HUGE space battle in EVE?
mjolliffe: "But imagine the graphics *drewl*"
I don't need too, just play games on PC. But seriously, Moore's Law essentially says you get double the processor power for the cost every 18 months, now while the consoles offset this by costing more to make than to sell at first, and being well optimised. The fact is that even a stupidly cheap PC now has far more raw processing power than the consoles. This power could be used for much more than graphics, better AI, more N...
[In response to matgrowcoot] I turn on my PC anyway as I have to look at E-Mails, and well, read N4G for starters. Beyond that, I assure you, I can boot a game from Steam way before you find the disc to yours, let alone load it.
While Empire and Sins were hardly sleeper hits, unless you only read OXM I suppose. A real sleeper hit was Shattered Horizon, take a look, great new innovative gameplay, and amusingly most likey best graphics this year, certainly WAY beyond Uncharted 2 or...
This game has had nude mods for ages now, practically since release.
Guys, what are these "stores", are they like building versions of play.com and Amazon?
PC GAMER FOR LIFE, 2 games brought from a "store", about 20 times that from impluse, steam, and websites
The killstreak thing is SOOOO true.
He admits his thing about sniping is silly, but CoD sniping is silly, maps are too small.
I don't agree with the prestige thing, as I don't see the point of prestige in this game. But, I can see his reasoning.
I am a fan of both games, and was playing MW2 moments ago.
Firstly, MW2 story was very poor as a story, even IW say they just came up with loads of epic moments and threw them together.
Graphics, um ok, I have a gaming PC, I play MW2 maxed at FULL HD. The HD videos of BFBC 2 look way better, and they are from console, the PC version of BFBC 2 will be DX11, and blow MW2's graphics away.
Gameplay, is different between each game, but without playing how can...
@mikeslemonade
As other have said, if PC gaming died then consoles would be screwed, as no one would be developing next gen GPU's and CPU's.
As for the whole Crysis debate, firstly the list is by year, so it is not saying UC2 is better than Crysis. Anyone who can play UC2 and then Crysis at anyway near high graphics, and come out saying UC2 has better technical graphics is making a joke of themselves. However, Crysis does require a good PC to play it, ($2000, where d...
It looks great, but the best water graphics/physics HAVE to go to CYROSTATIS, google it. Unbelievable stuff.
How can you have 1080p screens on a 620p game?
