ps3 gamers have been waiting for games to play for the damn bluraybox! I mean how many times can you watch Spiderman 3????? I know Kirsten Dunst tits are massive, but come on! And of course the xbox will have less of an attach rate because...........they actually have games to play........lots of them!!!

I said the same thing on another post. Hypocrites are saying 40% attach rate to 360 is low, when the attach rate with the ps2 and its all time biggest hitters were extremely low, I'm talking some less than 5%. But like the fanboys they are, they would just say that the ps2 was a hackers paradise and that the attach rate numbers didnt really represent the true blah blah blah.......

Sony is the only company that is really continuing support to a point for past systems, which IMO hurts ps3 sales. nes, snes, 64, gamecube, wii.........all didnt have to worry about predecessor console, same with Sega. Me personally, I'm glad MS dropped pretty much all support for the xbox once its time has passed and focused on the xbox 360. Development capabilities and timeframes. Another reason to release a new console every five years is the hype factor. Launch times are crazy press for Ninty, Sony and Microsoft. With all eyes on you, you can make your brand shine even more as well as increase share price if you play your cards right. Besides, people don't want the same console for 10 years. Two confirmed unconfirmed games WILL BE Elder Scrolls MMO and Gears of War 3. Console will launch holiday season 2010 in November giving the Xbox 360 5 whole years on the market before a successor. The Xbox 360 by then will be projected to sell strong long into the Xbox 720's life cycle, kinda like ps2 will do in ps3 life cycle.
Because of how quick technology is changing, it is foolish for any console maker to go beyond 5 year life cycle without having a new console to releas...

I say, no matter what, keep the current design, and put the power supply inside the 360 unit when possible, if ever possible with these smaller chips. I rather like the current design of the 360, and see no reason to make the case itself smaller.
