I was seriously doubting this deal, but now it all makes sense. If Rare is truly heading this casual department to innovate with this "wii60mote" then these games we see will by far trump the crappy, nes type games the wii produce.
I can now say that Resident Evil 5 is now officially on top of my 08 must have list for the 360!!! Of course by time holiday season hits, i will have added the ps3 to my video gaming family, so then I will have to choose which system to get it for........oh choices!

And yes, they are going the route of Ubisoft and letting quality game come out one year from the quality studio, and then in alternate years release it from another internal, secondhand studio. This should shut alot of fanboys up about how much better their respective console and what not. Compelling content is what drive this game market. GTAIV doesnt have the best graphics by far, but it is so content rich that it is safe to say that people will be playing it even into the next gen of consoles, much like players did with playing Halo 2 on the 360 before 3 came out. GTAIV is one of those games that will steadily increase hardware sales over time. Remember, with GTA now having online multiplayer, this game will have long legs, not to mention downloadable content aside from exclusive episodes. So guys, please, let's not jump the gun, because when you steadily build your games library and make it more diverse, people will eventually take notice when they're thumbing through all of the game titles somewhere at Best Buy or Gamestop.
I mean come on, we all hated vcrs and their inability to track worth a crap. But DVDs, especially upscaled DVDs look pretty damn good to this day! Until Bluray players come down to the prices HD DVD players were, and until alot more content is available, BR is kinda irrelevant right now, to me at least. HD only makes a dramatic difference when watching live events, but movies, meh.
