Well, it seems as if all of these game studios worked so hard in the last generation that they have become lazy this generation by alot of Sony Fonys. If I call B.S. on anything, it would be that. What you guys have to realize is that these guys have managers, and these guy's job is to make sure their company makes money. So if a better game on either platform will make more money for the studio, then why would upper management let these guys produce crap if the hardware they were working on ...
trying something different is something Nintendo did, not Sony. Sony is simply trying to get people to adopt their way of doing things. Why in 9 months are both initial launch consoles for the ps3 discontinued? Why would Sony initiate a price cut sooo early in the ps3s life cycle if they didnt know they were in trouble, even though they are losing money by the billions? Why is Sony trying to backdoor gamers by introducing an 80 gig ps3 model minus the ps2 chipset while taking the pricepoint back to $599? The xbox 1 never reached its full potential. It was capable of producing a much better game, even better quality than the last generation of titles before the advent of its successor, the 360. My point is that all because the PS3 may or may not be as powerful as Sony is making it out to be doesnt mean that developers will ever tap the system's full potential. What value have you gotten out of your PS3? Because last time I checked, the 360 had an attach rate of like 6 or 7 to one while the ps3 has 2 to 1. You must be thinking of value in terms of something like an extra value meal from Mcdonald's or something.

I thought my screen was hella bright until i went into the options and found out that brightness was on auto and that it was only turned up halfway. When turned up all the way, the sun can go down and it'll still look like high noon, if you know what I mean.

Losing exclusives, delays on AAA multiplatform games which in turn equates to being time exclusive for the 360, lackluster online network infrastructure, overhyped games like Lair getting underwhelming reviews??? Well, I won't agree with you about "this is living" although I will agree that this is life as Sony.
I for one like Metallica, well alot of their stuff. But you would think that after the whole Napster thing, these guys would've learned their lesson. You don't attack a gaming franchise like guitar hero and expect to keep fans. This is a big mistake on their part. Especially with a new album coming out early next year.
