What I've said with Switch applies here: it's only been out for a little bit and needs time to gain more momentum and games. FarPoint releases tomorrow. Give it time. If Sony decides to treat it like the Vita and ignore it, then start to worry; but for now, it seems to be doing just fine.
Minecraft on the Vita is the first Sony published game to sell over 1 million copies in Japan since Gran Turismo in 2003. Japan really does love their handhelds
If you took the time to look at the individual chart, Prey on PS4 hit #1 while Xbox One hit #4.
How is it Xbox gamers fault?
One of my favorite excuses I heard from Sega and GameFreak when they made that elephant game was 'the Wii U logo didn't look right on the promotional poster so we didn't make it.'
In regards to Switch, western support will most likely be minimal; however, Japanese and indie support will be present
I know people wanted this game on Vita but it wasn't able to happen so Switch is the next best thing. Glad to see people supporting it.
Gotcha. One would think Capcom has say over their game though since this is their most popular IP
Wouldn't this be on Capcom more than Nintendo since this is their game/series? We didn't blame Sony for the Street Fighter V embargo and release; we blamed Capcom and rightfully so.
Prepare to be disappointed then. Historically, Pokémon has never been revealed at E3. Over the last 11 years, GameFreak reveals their game in May.
The Donkey Kong Country series is one of my favorites. Definitely a tough platformer that challenges you. This particular game is the oddball but it's still a very good game
I hope a new one comes for Switch.
Exclusives don't suck for gamers; third party timed exclusive games/content suck for gamers.
A sequel to Bloodbourne would be great; I'd definitely get it
Remember the Reggie/Iwata fight to promote Smash Bros.? Definitely a memorable moment that would not have been possible with a live conference.
Yeah, it's really sad in my opinion. Fanboys of any brand are pathetic.
In regards to positive Nintendo news not getting approved, I agree. All Media Create posts will be widely ignored now with Switch selling consistently week by week.
It's absolutely nothing against Horizon; it's just Japanese gamers prefer party games more it seems.
Unpopular opinion but 1-2 Switch is going to outsell Horizon: Zero Dawn in Japan. The Japanese sure do love their party games
It's nice to see the Switch version get the same treatment as the PS4/Xbox One versions. Hopefully other developers do the same with other multi-platform games, at least with content and features
All without Animal Crossing, Pokémon, Yokai-Watch, or Monster Hunter in Japan too. I believe once those hit, Switch will be selling well for a long time.
I highly recommend Graceful Explosion Machine if you're a fan of games like Defender and Resogun.
Blaster Master Zero is a lot of fun too; plus they've added a demo if you wanna try it out before buying.
Wouldn't be a bad release date but there's no way Sega would release Mania and Forces so close to each other.
My friends and I play mostly handheld. My wife likes to play Zelda in bed or in the car when we are driving for awhile.
We've only played docked when playing multiplayer games cause it's better on the big screen in my opinion.
