This is cool. I was disappointed to learn Forza Horizon 5 and GT 7 did not have in race ray tracing. I thought the reflections looked nice all the same.
That’s a little too much man. Unless the whole reason you wanna play is to drive by the river and watch the water. In reality, you’re gonna drive passed it in less than 3 seconds.
But in this case, they would only be buying the game once. For those who already bought it, it’s free.

I thought it was just me. Everyone I know is singing it’s praises but it looks very last gen. The character models, environments, look last gen; facial animations look PS360 era. I do hope the gameplay, which looks basic, makes up for it. One of the reasons I bought a Series X was for this game, so I do hope it improves by release.

I’d rather have the immersion. I prefer the OG Halo 2 graphic setting with in game cutscenes vs the CGI. I like to have the costumes I choose and the weapons I equip to show up in cutscenes. I’d rather have the game itself look consistent rather than have amazing rendered cutscenes then back to reality. And if it takes more power then so be it. I’m the one paying the solar/electric company.
The thing that got me interested are the real time cutscenes.
And I still won’t download it 😆😆😆

I think it’s easy cuz some think that having the movie rights means they have the rights to the character across all media. Having an exclusive Spider-Man game didn’t help much either. Spider-Man games used to be multi platform cuz of Activision, even the movie games. It’s just cuz of PS Spider-Man was a first party game that it’s not multi.
Insomniac’s game is exclusive, the movie license is held by Sony, but the character is not exclusive on other media like video games. Marvel owns the rights to the character as far as gaming is concerned
Cmon ND. Insomniac is killing it on PS5 with new games. All we’ve gotten from ND are ports and upgrades. I hope they announce something new soon.

I remember only preordering back in the day cuz of inventory. Now it’s not even necessary unless there’s some awesome rare collectibles involved.

It’s why games like Forza gets delisted digitally. Licenses expire and they can’t sell the game anymore. I can at least pop the disc in and play it. Same with the real GTA trilogy. But even with physical games nowadays, companies can patch and alter the game as they see fit. So if Nintendo didn’t like my copy of Ocarina of Time having red blood or religious music, they can take it right out. I’m so glad my old system are more hardwired.
100% agree. When they let go of having to include last gen, we will see what current systems can do.
