I’m excited for Stray. I have no idea why there’s a cat in a city of robots, and I need to know why. And only 8 hours? Yes please!!!
What sucks is the people who get sucked into those monetized games enable people like this guy. We can band together as gamers to boycott cash machine games, but there will be double the “gamers” who make the monetized system so lucrative to developers.
Maybe, instead of just catering to younger generations, introduce them to a fun way of turn based battles. I know when I was a kid, the thought of turn based battles seemed boring. Then I played and loved Dark Savior, which opened my mind to Final Fantasy 7

I dunno why, but I really want the Genesis version of
Virtua Racing. I got the Switch version, but I always had a soft spot for the Genesis one.
I wanted one a long time ago, then Twin Snakes happened. Hopefully if the do a remake, it’s a proper one.
Excellent. I love how that option is on Nintendo Switch, cuz of what it means when it’s off. That’s one mode that will never be engaged.
Me too. I have all major systems, but the idea that one console will censor content is disheartening. Back in the SNES days, it was a little different as ratings, blood/gore, were in its infancy, but to censor a game today, especially when it was not originally censored, is not good. This is all speculation anyway. Nothing concrete yet, but we shouldn’t even have to be worried about it.

If Sony did, and I wouldn’t doubt it, why exclude their own PS4? Plus if they did, it isn’t anything new. They’ve been doing that since PS1.
Gotta keep in mind things like target audience. My 9 year old, 5 year old, wife, and myself all have a Nintendo Switch and we have one PS5. Out of all of us, who is most likely to buy Final Fantasy 7?
The 5 is the main home console. The only one who cares about Final Fantasy is myself and the wife, and all we need is one copy.
Yeah i agree, especially with in game detail. I was relieved to play the remake on PS5 cuz I felt the story wouldn’t end on ps4.
Also for those that didn’t read the article, this is about why there’s no PS4 version, not about Xbox vs PS.
On the money with that one. The show is gonna introduce TLOU to more than gamers. If they search it up and find a decade old game for a defunct system, it’ll be a turn off, but a gorgeously rendered new game on a state of the art system? Cash grab.
I was disappointed they scrubbed the Gamepad screen support for Breath of the Wild so it’d match the Switch.
I say the same thing. If the WiiU was really that bad, then why are people buying its games on Switch.
I see it as a cash grab, especially with a new show around the corner. It looks great, don’t get me wrong, and I do like remakes, but part 1 is too fresh. If they remastered Jak and Daxter I’d be all over it.
To each their own I say. While expensive, to me buying this isn’t any different than dropping cash on a Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head, Sam Porter Bridges, or a World of Warcraft statue. I don’t buy statues, but if it floats someone’s boat, then go for it.
Such BS. They take the fun out of gaming and collecting. Companies are powerless to do anything about it
