I’ll do 60fps if the only thing taking a hit is the resolution, and the rest of the graphics, effects, etc remain unchanged, but if there is a degradation in graphics, I’ll take the fidelity mode.
Not for me. The joys of owning every system
I know I’m prolly being biased, but I loved that foggy/misty (pun intended) look of the ps2 releases.
Sweeeeet!!
And my hopes for a real MK game announcement just turned to ash from mobile Scorpion’s he’ll fire.
It’s $40
Maybe I’ll start my GP subscription for the month to try this. Looks interesting.
That’s the question. Why would a person, who went on strike back in 2016 for fair and basic needs for actors, accept this role? And Hale is union!!! I’m union working in film and tv, and our unions don’t play around. We get paid exactly what’s in our contract, nothing less. I’m thinking Hale took the role because the offer was fair. We don’t know what the whole story is tho. We only know what Taylor claims.
I like Bayonetta but Taylor was only a part of Kamiya’s creation. ...
AHAHAHAHAHA. THIS IS BRILLIANT!!
Of course it’s not! It’s Nintendo. So it’s ok 👌.
Maybe she is. We don’t know the whole story and I can’t sympathize with the lady when there’s no context. And when another respected VA with damn near 18 times more VA credits and is part is SAG-AFTRA said yes, it makes me question this lady’s story.
I think it coulda been someone else and the game would be just as popular. She’s not the Master Chief or Snake, whose voice goes hand in hand with the character. Bayonetta is a cult classic. She was just some British chick.
@LoveSpuds
How do you know he has no talent?
How is it that Jennifer Hale, who had far more iconic roles in huge blockbuster, crazy successful, best of all time games; who has a long and successful voice acting career throughout movies, tv, and gaming, accepted the role of Bayonetta?
Hale (417 roles) vs Taylor (24)!!!
I’m supporting this game. I’m supporting tenured actresses like Jennifer Hale. And I will very much be buying it day one.
And since she refused to do the work, Jennifer Hale has every r...
I know it’s important to some, but we’ve been playing exceptional games that ran at 30fps. The only way frames per second ruin a game is if it drops way below 30 or the frame pacing is wrong.
Case in point. Arkham Asylum/City/Knight all ran at 30 fps. No one had a problem with it.
I cannot wait. Here’s a game where it’s understandable, considering how big it is, that it’s over 100gb; unlike Call of Duty that takes up massive amounts of space.
I started replaying part one. It’s funny how my muscle memory still tried to play the game like the PS2 games, which is exactly what happened when I played the very first time.
I agree with most people here. The graphics are decidedly last gen so 60fps should be included. I’d be more understanding if a suite of current gen effects were used, but it isn’t. And co-op isn’t much of an excuse.
I’m curious about the final results. I haven’t been impressed so far so I’m definitely on a holding pattern.
@TheLordOfStuff
Hmmmmm. I like the way you think.
I’d seriously put Infinity Ward on Halo duty. 343 can make crap mobile games. I tried defending them through 4 and 5 but I just can’t anymore.
