Does the "PS3" version actually exist? It looks like it could be on the gameboy advance. I wouldn't be surprised since RE1 was remade for almost every system under the sun.
Sure to Wii owners graphics aren't everything, but a lot of what makes this game what it is is the atmosphere. I just don't think the Wii is capable of maintaining that atmosphere.
If there is one thing I have to say is that looking at stills versus looking at the game in motion are two totally different things. Now we can see subtle differences in the pics, but when your actively being chased by a hoard of angry Africans and a chainsaw wielding maniac, subtly goes out the window and you wont notice.
Yeah the weapon switch was the one thing I felt was missing from RE4
Too bad for the cat tho.
is it me or is are the controls/camera for RE4 easier to get used to. I found myself fighting with the camera trying to get it straight since Chris now strafes.
I normally delete installs for games I no longer play and normally only have 2-3 games installed at a time on my ps3. On 360 I have 1 game installed at a time (since my hdd only has like 20g). I actually like installs cuz it reduces the amount of work the dvd or blu ray drive has to do and eliminates disc read errors on my 360.
I want it to be more cinematic. The dialogue angles were great and the cinemas they did have were cool. (Especially the part with the *WOAH* and that scene with the *AW COOL*). But in my opinion, it didn't feel as epic as it could have been. Oh and the pop up textures really distracted me. I would rather have great yet stable graphics rather than cramming every special effect and shader on screen then having it pop in and out. But I hear that is one of the problems of the Unreal engine.
Wii is more like the two seater Smart Car girls are swooning over. And 360 is a Ford that ends up being a lemon.
This is a console race. 360 sprinted to number one when it was released and now looks outta breath. Sony saw it as a marathon and is using a slow and steady pace to reach number one in the long run. Nintendo is the three year old running in circles, eating his own poop, but everyone thinks he's adorable so they automatically give him first place.
Awwww I thought it was a new "shaving simulator" for the nintendo wii.
If there is no Seagal, what's the point.
What are they expecting, every reviewer giving this game a 12 outta 10. Realistically, anything 9 and above is a good score. If Killzone got a 7 outta 10 then maybe it would be disappointing. (Still prolly be a good game tho).
This made me remember why I liked Square in the first place. I hope the 360 doesn't affect the ps3 version from being all that it can be.
Such an odd rating system. Out of 40? Weird.
Jolie needs to eat something. She looked good in tomb raider but now she looks unhealthy.
Here's proof: If it was the real Wii version, it would have been GTA 3, Vice City, or San Andreas with wii controls. It would be way cheaper to produce and way faster to crank out.
One of the purpose of a videogame is to give people an experience they normally would not have in real life. Not everyone is a musician.
I got the PS3 version and I thought it was pretty fun in small doses. BTW are the cut scenes in the pc version real time or compressed fmv like in the ps3?
Wow that's impressive for game boy color
