In terms of pop culture icons, no way in hell is a Lancer the new lightsaber. Everyone, their mother, and their grandmother knows what a lightsaber is, and only a select few know what a Lancer is.
In terms of use as a weapon, the lightsaber is elegant, precise, efficient, and takes a depth of skill to master without cutting your gonads off. The lancer is a grunts' weapon designed for pointing and shooting. You can cut through a hoard of Locusts with a lightsaber in the time it t...
Wow. This looks lame. I know he's in a mall and all, but does he have to run over mannequins.
the only game I agree with is Pokemon.
Yeah, that was my one disappointment, not having the matrix shots. but other than that, it was pretty fun and beautiful to boot.
Does the Rail Gun from MGS4 count? you can zoom and destroy gekkoes in one shot.
I'll believe it when I see it.
I don't think this guy has had sex yet.
It's funny really. I'm pretty sure when he plays a racing game he'd say; "All you do is drive and turn and drive some more". Or with a fighting game "All you do is fight, block, use combos, and throws repeat". Or with an rpg; "All you do is fight monsters, level up, and engross yourself with rich character development and diverse plotlines, repeat".
I think developers should no longer include people of other races in videogames. Just use white people. Avoid controversy.
Yeah, the wii does suck. I was expecting more than a wiggle here and a waggle there.
I always thought the newer 3d MK female characters looked a little too butch.
How come when zombies are white, no one complains. From RE1-RE3 and every game in between, zombies where predominantly white and no one cared. RE4 the "zombies" were South American (Latin Americans) and were getting killed by a whiter than white guy, Leon Kennedy. Again no one cares. Now RE5 takes place in Africa and the "zombies" are black people getting killed by a white guy and all of a sudden it's racist. SO, it's perfectly acceptable to kill white people. It's perfect...
After playing the demo, did anyone feel that RE5 was a little censored? I remember RE4 had Leon getting decapitated by the chainsaw guy if you got too close. In RE5, they would pan down to the torso before Chis' head comes off. You don't really see a headless body and no head rolled. And when the executioner um ...executes the guy in the cutscene they don't show it. They just show a bloody axe being hoisted back. Kinda lame when you consider that a well placed gunshot can explode a head. Does...
There is a setting which lets you play with more RE4 style control. makes a big difference and plays better. What is the point of strafing if you cant shoot at the same time?
Everytime I hear Valve and how they hate PS3 or whatnot, it just makes them seem lazy. Seeing Killzone 2 shows what a developer can do when they put their hearts into it.
My biggest fear is that Microsoft goes the way of nintendo and stops producing badass Halo games and starts putting Master Chief as a character in MLB, NFL, Puzzle, Board, Party, and Cute Kart Racing Games.
Let's face it, whether some gamers want to admit it or not, halo and master chief are icons in the gaming world and it would be easy to exploit them in negative ways in order to sell a game.
With Halo Recon and Halo Wars,it looks like MS is really milking the franchise. Although Recon looks cool. Now, where is Halo: Warthog Racer
All this Luigi's Mansion talk got me thinking, how awesome would Luigi's Mansion be on the Wii? Of all the gamecube Wiimakes, this would truly kick arse.
If Mass Effect 2 is only on pc and 360, then what's the big deal? Mass effect 1 was on the PC and 360 too. the only way this would be interesting, is if it were on the PS3 as well. Unless ME2 is a stand alone title that shares very little from the original story,, they really should port ME1 to the ps3 first.
Yeah it would look completely generic. Unreal Engine looked fantastic 2 years ago, but since every game utilizes it, it just looks plain. I mean C'mon, Guile looks like he's a gears of war character. Where's the art? Where is the style?
