I have no idea what you are talking about. I was talking purely in general terms. It can go back to comparing launch games to games that are released later in the console's life. The tech to max a console is there it just takes a while to get to it.
Does anyone think that the real reason the ps3 is not being used to it's full potential is that developers technology in general isn't ready to meet the PS3's demand. PS3 is supposed to be a long term console and the tech they are using now will be way different than the tech they'll be using 6 months from now, which will be different 6 years from now. Tech is always evolving every day. Eventually you'll see the maxed out PS3 and when that day comes God help us all!!!
If Gears 3 is gonna release around the same time as the Newbox 360, they should put it on that system so it would have that killer app launch title, but if it is well within the life span of the 360, finish the story off on the 360 then evolve the game properly for the Newbox 360.
I always thought the t800 model was the models made to look like humans so they could infiltrate the resistance. the t600 were the robots that they show in the beginning of every terminator movie in the future. At least that was my assumption since T2 came out all those moons ago. I miss James Cameron.

When RE5 was first teased and people were still speculating that the main character was Chris Redfield, there were images of slow moving zombies headed towards him. It was actually the shadows of classic RE zombies. And they were zombies too not Las Plagas. That is my biggest knock on the RE franchise now is that I miss the zombies. They looked awesome in the Gamecube remakes and I would love to see em again. They are just cooler than rabid people. (28 days later zombies are not real zombies)...

Cuz every time I run it off the disc, it sounds like it's trying oh so hard just to make it spin. Almost like the sound of a fat kid walking uphill. Installing not only makes it quieter, but eliminates any disc read errors or freezing.
It's not just the graphics. I think it's because there is just this deluge of crappy shovelware games on it, and it's the "number one" console. For every "real" game like Mario or Metroid there is about a dozen or so cheapass, crappy minigame compilations. And the worst thing about it is that these games sell. (As I recall Mario and Sonic Olympics was one of the more successful games). And that means that developers will continue to support these games. There are not enoug...
That they up the resolution for High def instead of just putting the original on blu ray disc. Is it possible? Keep the same assetes of the original games (i.e character models, textures, etc) just boost the native resolutions to 1080p.
I think badasses are one of the big ones. As much I like Gears of War, Marcus Fenix made me realize how tired I am of the "badass" character. If there is depth to the character like Solid Snake, it can be awesome. But characters like the Army of Two guys and Fenix, guys who just have a gruffy voice and kills any and everything are plain boring. We need new characters for action games.
I don't think you have to worry. I recall the reason for killing the original xbox early was because the production of the hard drive was killing them financially. Xbox 360 has a removeably hard drive so I think they have learned their lesson.
To me gaming is like playing with digital action figures. The same type of fun is still there just without the going outside, coming up with your own scenarios, and the eventual freezing of one of the toys.
I think Microsoft just prematurely ejaculated.
Life sized replica Blades of Chaos
I actually kept my old Sony 32" WEGA SDTV. I found that muh old PS2/1, (even played on muh PS3) and Gamecube games look better and more crisper on my old CRT. But on muh HDTV, they look blurry. I have no prollems with my BC Xbox games tho.
