I think this is how the remake should be handled. Everything is familiar yet different. I wouldn’t want the same exact game but with updated graphics. My only worry is the fact that it may be a long time before we hear One Winged Angel again.
Hmm. If this was some kind of simulator, like a sports game, I’d get it, but this is Final Fantasy, it doesn’t matter. Like AT ALL! Plus, in PS1, Tifa’s knockers were huge. So give it a rest.
I like dated blocky graphics. Otherwise I wouldn’t have spent hours in line to buy an SNES mini to play Star Fox 2. The problem was the sloppy ass emulation. It wasn’t up to code to the OG releases which makes it a waste of money

I’m not gonna beat around the bush. My problem with Black Widow is that she’s f**kin ugly.
I like owning my games and I don’t need access to 100s as I like to play through the select games I do buy. When I’m done with one I pick and choose the next or play one I haven’t played in a while. I’m very content without games as a service.
I’m not down with games as a service for any platform. I can definitely see the appeal, especially when there’s Apple Music, Netflix, etc. I guess I’m just too old school.
My personal favorite was Reach. I felt like it was the most complete Halo experience.

I thought 3 looked good. Not 2 remake good, but the bump to native 1080p made it pop.
Story yes, events no. Snake backflipping to dodge Revolver Ocelots shot was out of character. If someone were to ask me if I remember that part, the answer is no. When Kojima directed part the original, he hired a military advisor, Motosoda Mori, to keep elements of the game, including Snake, grounded in reality. Even if the scenario was fantastical. If you noticed, Snake didn’t act like a fool, like he did in Twin Snakes, in Kojima Metal Gears.
