For a system that has no third party support that's pretty good. PS4 is going to have a great year too.

I've had a great experience with the Wii U. I play xenoblade on the gamepad while my kids fight over the ps4 and pc lol.
I'm already planning on getting it for NX... wow this is like twilight princess gc/wii all over again.

In a world of paid dlc, I don't know why this is so shocking. I paid way more for Battlefront and I'm already losing interest in it. The Dlc better come with a lightsaber to make up for it at this point.

That's fine. I can upgrade my pc and get an NX before the next gen. Plus there's so many games coming out in the next two years. It's overwhelming.
And hopefully the gimmick will be more in the system itself as opposed to the controller. I think we've learned by now that the controller, which they helped perfect, is good enough.
A Metroid or Zelda NX bundle would sell amazingly.
I wouldn't say it's do or die for Nintendo. But they do need to step their game up. I love the wii u but it lacked games with depth and story. Metroid and Zelda would sell the NX for sure.

Consoles will never die. Casuals may lose interest, fewer games might get made. But as of right now the market is strong. Didn't they say mobile was gonna kill consoles? And that was 3 years ago.
