People fail to mention the fall of xbox. They're scrambling hardcore and people are losing interest fast. Not to mention they're new enforcement on PC gaming and talks of possible hardware modification on consoles. We might see a shift in the late future where it's Sony vs Nintendo again. I know I'll get plenty of dislikes but anything is possible.

Investing half a bil into R&D isnt going "all in" for Nintendo. Considering the article even states that they generated 5 billion in revenue this year lol. That's called smart business practice. Plus that's 5 Billion added to the Billions they're already worth. Not to mention they're deal with Universal theme parks and the amiibo.

As far as a trade-in offer is concerned.. I wouldn't expect much. The original ps4 will lower in price once the 4K machine comes in. In fact there's going to be a huge amount of unwanted original ps4s.. You'll be lucky to get a good trade for it. I love sony and playstation but this is turning out to be a strange move. Hope it ends well.
Cool. It seems like the new theme in gaming is bridging gaps and bringing ALL gamers together. The console wars have made the gaming community toxic IMO.

Here's a hint. You can buy more than one console. And if that console isn't for you, don't buy it and don't bash it. There's no need to play politics with consoles. The media does enough of that for us.

They should do more with the pokemon franchise on consoles. I'm not saying bring the core game to consoles but offshoots like pokken or pokemon snap. It obviously has the power to sell units.
