I don't know what it's doubled from but it's impressive. It won't slow down anytime soon either. Once xenoblade, Star Fox and Zelda release it'll triple. And that's just the flagship titles this next year.
It's the quality of life console. It yells at you until you sell it to gamestop. It has the power of three wiis combined... I really hope it's a new Nintendo console. Nintendo Fuse
Yeah. These games go back to the late 80s even. They just polished up an old gem and attached a popular franchise to it.
Exactly... it's a difficult road to get that kind of realism. I hope it's ironed out in time. Even current open world games have trouble achieving a fragile action - based game without making it seem stale.
@thamm. I agree. As much as I'd like to see a new wave race, metroid, etc... I want them to do a new concept. Show the masses you have new and brilliant ideas. Make the next franchise that's on par with zelda.
If they let the people who tackled the Lego movie do it. It would be an amazing exercise in video game nostalgia. I'm all for it but they NEED to do it right.
They'll re - release them later on.. With slightly different coloring or costumes. Making them a not so valuable second edition of the first wave. Then a week later they'll discontinue them again lol.
Wait, is this coming out January 2015? Because everyone seems to be judging it like it is. I'm pretty sure E3 is going to be the true unveiling. This looked like a rough build for basic demonstration if that.
2015 is going to be an epic year for gaming. Glad to see Nintendo still has some fight in them.
Lol. I'd rather see a pilot wings 64 character than these selections. Skull kid = greatness
Do it! If there's one thing Nintendo has proven over the years. It's the fact that they are the most incredible risk takers in the console game. I welcome this with open arms.
Never underestimate Nintendo. They stumble every now and then but all of a sudden they'll make 1 or 2 software titles that give everyone that warm and fuzzy gamer feeling of being young and care free. They're the Disney of the video game realm.
I think a lot of people were waiting for Smash before they picked up they're copy of Bayonetta 2. Although this is a great time to release games, the majority of the consumers are waiting it out for black friday. That's a great excuse to pick up a Wii U bundle with Smash and Bayo 2 for a lower price. Although it's just a theory, I'm hoping Bayo 2 has a better month in sales based off of this assumption.
I'm boycotting it myself. I don't need anymore sandbox games especially with a refreshed gta 5 already released. Plus all of the wii u owners would rather get some amiibos and super smash then play an abandoned game that has no backing from its developers. Ubisoft initially killed it.
I don't care what you say, he's gonna be a good Lex Luthor... oh whoops. Wrong one. They all look and act alike hahaha
Mario Kart 8 was the experiment. And it killed it. They'll come around.
Bravo Nintendo! Never afraid to be its own destiny maker. Here's to more years of innovation and creativity.
I'm sure the Xbox will probably see its fair share in sales. But between Smash, Amiibo, Star Fox and Zelda... I think the Wii U will be a tough contender. Definitely not doomed like they were saying a year ago. Even if the Wii U fails sales wise, Nintendo has enough money to stay in the game for years to come.
Boss battles is where the game pad would really shine.
In a world where shovel knight and minecraft are king I don't understand why graphics are held to such high standards. It makes no sense. Was xenoblade on the wii as polished as final fantasy 13? No, but it wasn't a turd either.
