This game exists because it's a reaction to the current state of the video games industry. Fully funded by PC gamers for PC gamers. You guys that are pleading for it on consoles need to understand this.
Well, the consumer rift is going to be 1080p/60hz. Plans soon after that include upping the resolution, so we can see why the consoles won't be able to keep up with that. Resolution/high refresh rates are important to the rift experience, since you're using eye lenses to magnify the screen. Oh, and this is all happening waaaay before next-gen consoles are even being discussed.
Nope. They're just saying that their future plans outpace the hardware of the new gen consoles.
sweet
let's not talk practically and just appreciate this monstrosity for what it is, or that you CAN do it, if you want to.
I'd take that setup in a heartbeat (the one in the video).
Edit: I said take it, not purchase it with my own hard-earned money, lol.
This is a national problem. One that reaches beyond video games.
looks like those old full motion videos on sega cd
Lvl 9 here (pc). I've had a few lockups, but this launch has been lightyears ahead of BF3's nightmarish first few days for me. I wonder if people are finding out that their overclocks aren't as stable as they previously thought.
Edit: AMD just released some new beta drivers that supposedly stops some crashing
okay, let's assume you didn't have to spend your own money on it and it was a gift given to you. Can you guys appreciate it then?
I love most of the bf3 maps as well, it just feels too soon to be getting them in bf4
what we don't need are bf3 maps
shadowplay works even better than i expected
needs big ships!
sounds to me like they decided 60fps and 64-person matches got priority over resolution, which I agree with.
Back in the 90s the creative developers had control. Not anymore! Blame the suits.
because it's a review, and not some sales pitch.. i appreciate seeing all of the configurations and where gpus stand against multi-gpu configs.
You can set it to snap up the previous gameplay *up to* 20 minutes, or you can simply have it go non-stop like the software solutions out today.
This is what I've always wanted. I don't want to have to run it constantly in hopes that I'll have an awesome gaming moment while it's running.. the ideal solution is to be able to record a certain event AFTER it's happened.
well, the ones on sega genesis certainly hold a special place in my heart, but I thought the ps1 version with the sidecars was tons of fun.
today's high-end, tomorrow's mid-range
