The price drop and the good showing at E3 has spurred on sales of the PS3 which also impacted the sales of the X360 which lately had a couple of bad publicity especially the failure rates. This is actually the first time i have seen Mass effect upclose. Everything is pointing to this game being a monster hit. I still believe though that this next gen format war won't be over until the HD-DVD group concedes or All the content providers support Blue ray exclusively. It is obvious that the HD-DVD group won't backdown anytime soon which sucks but understandable. Last time i checked they accounted for at least 1/4 of the world wide gaming market and not only that Japan is also home to some of the major developers and publishers in the gaming industry.
