It really happens. This drop with games like RC, Sing star and perhaps Eye of Judement will defiantly sell alot of PS3 this holiday season to the casual market and then you have RC, UT3, Drake, COD4, folklore and Haze for the Hardcore gamers. Man i really thought Sony mucked up this holiday season but i am starting to see their strategy which is brilliant. On the software side I honestly don't know which game to leave out.

But just like to say congratulations to MS and Bungie especially. This is truly a very impressive sales figure. Halo 3 got 9.5 from IGN so i am sure its a great game and will be playing on my friends x360 soon.

At most only 20% of previous console market has been accounted for.So 80% of the market at least is unaccounted for. If MS want to declare victory after accquring only 8% of the console market then that fine with me.

X360 has sold twice as many PS3 after twice as long time in the market than PS3 with better selection of games. 1st year without competition.

But PGR5 could. However if activision is thinking of putting this on PS3 it will be wise for them to put it on this year since it will not have a chance against GT5 next year and also there is a precived lack of games for PS3 this holiday season. On the otherside if they go multi-pat now it will piss off alot of x360 fanbase and might have a negeative impact on sales on x360 and seeing that PS fans don't care about PGR4. I doubt they will.

Insomniac deserves all the credit. Sony seriously owes Insomniac big time this generation cycle. Can't wait for what these guys can do with Resistance 2. Saying that Halo 3 is just Halo 2 in HD.I already looked at screen shots and they are much better than H2 in my opinion. Anyways i guess it got ten for its story which in my opinion is what i like about the halo series having both played H1 and H2. I expect 9.5 rating or more for this game.

Ok this is just my opinion with regards to the Japanese with what i have gather sofar. Japanese consumers in general prefer quality products and that are hip. Example Ipod. Not only it is a quality product but also it is seen as cool and anyone that buys it is cool cause sony and other japanese walkmans although is well built but not as cool as the ipod.
