DMC4 was as generic as they come in terms of sequels. CAPCOM have to stop over milking their cash cows.
...the originals?
After playing the demo I felt like I had seen it all and done it all before. The enemy AI is nothing special with generic attack moves throughout. The environment is too pre-rendered and the fixed camera makes the whole thing feel really linear. Worst of all was Patrick Stewart's commentary - slow, over dramatic and it contains nothing of real interest.
It looks like a solid 7.5, maybe an 8 but for me it does not live up to the ea...
...no one thinks you need a second analog on the DS. The 3DS looks like it could be a FPS/TPS handheld beast and yet it only has one analog!
Would have thought with all the moaning over the years with the PSP only having a single analog that Nintendo would have put 2 on the 3DS.
...I find it ridiculous to be comparing the 5+ year old PSP to the yet to be released 3DS. Mind you, shows you just how good the PSP was when it was first released.
However, if the handheld war was all about graphics alone then why is the PSP trailing so far behind the DS.
...really makes a huge difference. Especially when you're dealing with such low screen resolutions.
...and so it should. I also think they should have included a second analog to provide the best possible control scheme for ALL types of games that could be released on the 3DS.
...TPS and FPS games require 2 analog controllers. Some of that gameplay footage looked great but like the PSP, you could see how much better some of those styles of game would be with a second analog.
Tell me, you really think playing an TPS/FPS on the DS works if you're only holding the DS with one hand so you an use the stylus with the other hand. Dual analog would also provide the best support for both left and right handed players.
...be over $500 in New Zealand. It will sell...but slowly...very slowly.
...love it but will probably give the PSP2 a miss as Sony failed to support the Go. I feel cheated.
When?
...but not sure about the accuracy of the controls. By in large the lag did not seem to be of concern its just how much aim assist is there for this to work.
I guess its for the casual gamer so it looks like a winner in that respect. Sony needs something that looks this spectacular for Move.
...was one dull experience. Not sure this looks any better.
...its not something I'll pick up. From what I hear there is no tolerance for new comers and if you don't have a headset then chances are you'll get booted from the game.
...A slight deviation on your original stance towards casual entertainment. I believe you stated that casual entertainment, Start the Party in this instance, is crap. Now you're saying you enjoy casual entertainment?
Maybe you should have stated that casual is not for you rather than just branding it all as crap.
I wonder, let's say you're at a party and some hot woman comes up to you and asks if you wanna do it? will you say thanks but no ...
...do your gaming habits reflect your movie and TV viewing habits or do you like a wide range of movies and TV shows. That is, does everything have to be a Schindler's List (i.e. non-casual entertainment) or do you also find enjoyment in something like The Hangover (i.e. casual entertainment).
...most SP campaigns seem more like extended demos since they only come in at several hours worth of gameplay. They need to be bundled with MP so consumers can feel like they're getting value for money. If you can't actually use the MP then basically you're getting screwed.
...how people have such a hatred of something so insignificant as a games console that they will go out of their way to trash and lie about it.
Maybe its time some people stopped playing games and found something better to occupy their time with.
...the Android/HTC combo has a real chance of dethroning the iPhone over the next few years. Apple will always have a following but give consumers something that looks just as good, is not as locked down, features the functionality they're after for less then they will follow.
...would keep the zombie stuff away from the COD franchise. It brings the tone of the franchise down.
...the 3DS looks as good as a 10 year old platform...go figure. I don't think anyone expects things to stagnate and not advance.
