I too was one of the few that actually owned an Atari Jaguar and the Aliens vs. Predator game was one of only two reasons to own that atrocity of a gaming machine along with Tempest 2000.
I cant wait for this new AvP it looks as though Gear Box is finally giving many of us older gamers THE defining Aliens game that we have been waiting for over 30 years to play.

I no longer own a PS3 and I will admit that absolutely no Xbox360 game comes close to the incredibly detailed ,crisp clean and brilliantly colored graphics as either Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 or even God of War 3 on PS3.

Operation flashpoint is almost too realistic and it plays like a sniper based game even with regular mid sized machine guns.

These PS3 firmware updates never end well.
The firmware updates are especially problematic on the older PS3 consoles.
It seems that the issue with Firmware updates for PS3 will never be fully resolved.

I will admit that I hated Microsoft as a company for many years. It all started with Windows ME and then it blew up when I had TWO Xbox360 red ring in the same year back in 2007.

I played through both MGS2 and MGS3 more times than I care to remember.
I stopped playing most of my PS2 games after I got a new HDtv a few years ago simply because the PS2 looks bad on any HDtv no matter what connection you use the PS2 games look faded and washed out.
I cant believe how good Metal Gear Solid 3 looks in that pic on an HDtv.
