Its been this way ever since MGS4 been out. No other exclusive on any platform has been able to rival it. MGS4 just pwnz all who steps in its path.
I think there just trying to get some hits on there site because this is the lowest score ive seen for spore thus far.
Folklore (Was a flop in reviews but a very good game in my opinion and underrated)
Disgaea 3 (I havent played this game yet and im sure I will when it hits the US since I am huge fan of SRPG's)
White Knight Chronicles (One of the most anticipated JRPG's out there)
Final Fantasy 13 Versus (This looks to be more bad a$$ then FF13)

I mean especially when the MGS series is obviously focused more on western gamers and to top it off it aint even as big as people may think it is in japan. The series has always sold very well outside of japan. I think its sad that japan misses out on such a masterpiece made by one of the greatest devs of all time, and they rather buy all these other games that are mediocre at best. I mean seriously I love japan and anime and game devs from japan but its sad to see amazing games like MGS4 not...
I have always enjoyed the series on the ps2. The graphics look good on the 360 and hope it turns out to be good.
What can they do if not only nintendo is outselling everything but also the higher priced ps3 is outselling them. They had to do something or this trend will just get way out of hand when the ps3 really starts picking up momentum.
Its good for gamers because if MS begins to outsell the ps3 by alot it will force sony to cut prices or come up with something because if they dont, this holiday season may be one they will wish they shouldve done something about it.
MS is doing a great job this time around and really if u look at it, MS has done a fabulous job especially grabbing alot of titles that were once big on the playstation brand and even getting a few to be exclusive or timed exclusive and exclusive DLC.
The problem is looking down the line, sony will begin bringing exclusive killer apps one after another and will be rolling with games begining this fall and heading into 2009 and MS hasnt done nothing to strengthen up on its first...
Talk is cheap, dont talk crap unless u have proven yourself in the gaming industry. As great as a library MS has, they have improved in there games department but they still lack exclusives and they forget there hardware has the highest failure rate in history of gaming. I think they will come in last place in this next gen war but its good to know they wont be leaving anytime soon. And like they say competition is good because the better the competition, the better games we get.
The game has sold well for a game that is only directed at its harcore mgs fans and for a game that wasnt even advertised to hell and back like halo 3 was it still managed to sell very well and it will continue to sell. I think they should advertise MGS4 for the holidays and bundle it with the $399 sku sony is bringing out. This game can still sell more especially with the great reviews it had.

I played the demo they had on the japanese store on my japanese accound and loved the demo. I really hope this game comes out in the US. I think part 2 just released in the US if im not mistaken or later release but damn I love the fighting in this game, u actually feel like a bad a$$ samurai. I mean yes alot of these exclusives may have had bomb reviews but there are people out there who enjoy these games. Heck too human, ninja gaiden 2, and infinite undiscovery, and lost odyssey, and crackdown all were failures too but alot of people still enjoyed those games. Just because a few exclusives have had bad reviews, doesnt mean everyone hates those games.
And yet no one complained about that. So why u complaining? Aslong as the game is fun as hell that doesnt matter.
Besides that Socom aint even out yet so why are they already trying to downplay socom? Anyways it does have server problems but the game is fun as hell. Definately will be buying this on bluray.

I think this is the real reason why the 360 isnt in the lead in sales right now because of this high failure issue. I see so many people try an cover up for MS is 360 but this is very bad. I am fortunate to only encounter this problem once and am greatful for it, but for alot of those who aint that fortunate, I hear so many story's of people going through 3 or 4 even more failure issues. If they would have advertised the hell out of MGS4, I think we would have seen a new record breaking sales. MGS4 still did very well in sales but im sure if they advertised it like MS did with halo 3, we all know MGS4 would have sold way more then it did now. Anyways despite MGS4 sales, MGS4 FTW. :)
Anyone who takes there credability serious is just as full of sh** as eurogamer is.
First off what they shown here looks more like a standard tv with the ps3 version. I played this demo on my 42 inch HDTV and u can see more color then what they are displaying with this washed out ps3 color comparisons.
Do remember guys these are the same guys who gave MGS4 a score of 8 and gave halo 3 a 10 and called halo 3 a masterpiece, lol. Right there already told me alot abo...
As big of a fan of MGS I am, the killzone beta has got me more pumped for this beta then I was with MGO. I still love MGO and the single player was on a class of its own but killzone 2 looks to be one hell of a blast online especially seeing how many people loved call of duty 4 so much and killzone 2 taking things to the next level with multiplayer online. This is going to be definately a blast. :)
I might just pick this up since I like these type games, I can play with the family. This and Buzz Quiz.
