2005 - Killzone Liberation in development
2005 - Killzone 2 announced + target trailer shown at E3
Early development begins
Nov. 2006 - Launch of Killzone Liberation
March `07 - Liberation online beta ended(feb) chapter 5 + infrastructure mode completed and now in the hands of consumers for free

That Bioshock 2 is not even considered an officially announced title and the fact that Mass Effect is now under the ownersship of a huge multiplat publisher, I think your opinion is pretty flawed.
Let's not forget that Take Two(2k) is being courted by EA as well. Anything else?
Unless MS has some mad secrets hidden. 2008 will be another good gaming year but 2009 is a complete mystery. It's nearing it's peak point in North America and has yet to prove it can manhandle the rest of the globe.
