I find he bid a little to high on the first month of PS3 GTA IV sales, although by the end of the year , I believe the PS3 GTA sales will outdo the 360s. He feel he is right about PS2 owners olding out finally making their next-gen transition to the PS3.

The Gamespy online structure is the default architecture for the PS3. I'll agree that it's disappointing that it has to be a third party tool but it's there at the least.
It supports, Matchmaking, stats tracking(on and offline,) invites and more. Obviously we've seen Insomniac best that system in their first attempt.
The main issues like cross invites/chat seem to be tacked to that hardware memory OS issues, so that's not a matter of the PSN missing out on functions...

I can't understand how some are confused about it.
Devs can do what they want. They can use Gamespy or create their own backbone which is what most are doing successfully. And before some clown goes running their mouths off about Gamespy being garbage...so you think. It's actually quite stable for consoles.
Free = good and it's only going to get better. The only thing it's lacking is a live PSN-wide complaint submission.

PC gaming and console gaming are still two different approaches to gaming. Add-on content on PC's have always been there and are usually referred to as EXPANSION PACKS. Sometimes they're free, most of the times they aren't.
DLC for consoles IS being abused at the moment regardless of what you're a FANATIC of. The market is still being tested and milked at the same time.
