It's interesting to see how much AAA game releases actually affect console sales. I have never bought a console just because of one game, but usually because of a price drop.
The ability to instal games on hard drive will have a noticeable effect on gaming, by making it quieter. My xbox 360 currently sounds like a jet aircraft when running normally.
Every time I hear about a game being cancelled, I die a little on the inside.

Some of those titles look pretty low-quality. Even the example they used, Weapon of Choice, seems kind of amateur. Sucess will depend on the quality of future games, for sure.

I think the "brand recognition" part means that sackboy will be an instant gaming icon due to his cuteness. We have already seen him all over Sony's external marketing materials and advertisements.

The score is not 6/10, it is 3/5, like a movie review. 3 stars for a movie means it is pretty good, not a masterpiece, but will entertain a lot of people.
I happen to know the writer of this review, and this is honestly what he thought of the game. Ps3 Informer doesn't need the hits from this website, and not every independent reviewer is going to love every game, even if fans think it deserves OMG10/10!!!!

I suspect that this hacker is doing it simply for the challenge, not to actually propose swapping CPU boards everytime someone wants to run homebrew.

This is good news about a demo. I definitely wouldn't buy another Tomb Raider game without trying it first.

I don't think you are the first person to have that problem. The TV out features of firmware 5.0 are causing more problems than they are fixing.
Also, the PSP 2000 can still only output to HD, except when playing PSX games, which can be output to interlaced screens. Kind of weird.
