your just being narrow minded! you just can't see that 'potential'. when Kinect hits it's stride there will be things that'll blow your mind. fantastical, wonderful experiences that transport you to a world of incredible complexity and depth. i can't get any more specific than that!!! dream fella, dream and be part of the Kinect universe
a more interesting question would be: i wonder how many 360 owners, who hated on the PS3 and used his words to bash the PS3, are psychologically damaged by the fact the guy they've agreed with for 3 and a half years has said the PS3 version will be better than the 360 version?
it will be frying their brains because they HAVE to agree with him. after all, he knows what he's talking about, right?
well Johnny, when someone who has been knocking something and hating on it suddenly states the version on what he's been knocking is going to be the best, you have to ask yourself why he's eaten so much humble pie. could it be that he could no longer hate on a product that Sony have proven is superior in every way?
edit: Colonel-Killzone, i don't think it is just the amount of consoles sold. i believe the reason he said it would be the best version is because of ...
so basically he's saying it's no good for games lol. look at his examples of what he sees as the future of Kinect.
so can someone actually specify what this 'potential' is? i know the potential of MOVE, i've seen the games and tech demos. so please, could someone suggest something that isn't as vague and fluffy as 'the holodeck'. what's the potential for FPS or TPS or platformers? pray tell
lol... well now we know what all 360 owners are going to be saying from now on with Kinect:
'there's nothing wrong with Kinect, it's the lazy devs.'
mark my words
LOLOL!!!!!!!!!
'When I later asked if they would be ordering the device they told me “before we attended we had no idea what Kinect was, but now we will be ordering it straight away and also recommending friends do so too.” The grandson? Well he never even got to play.
Before our conversation ended I explained PlayStation will also receive a motion device soon and I asked if that is something she would consider, however she told me although her Grandson did have a PS3, she would rather ...
and the answer is:
3rd party, if you own a 360
1st party, if you own a PS3
what? Eyetoy was last gen on the PS2. the PSEye is getting support with games like Kung fu live and i don't know if you've noticed but MOVE uses it
i'm with you Game-ur. it's definitely not for everyone, but is certainly seems to interest quite a few people with 12 million users.
it would be a good idea if they did
Tumble
if you can eliminate lag, i wonder why all the games still have it? just saying
IMAM, if you can adjust the gravity and apply it to anything, don't you think you will be able to also adjust the floatiness?
strange? i thought they had retired and started a lemonade business.
who in their right mind would buy these?
they said they had no plans for MOVE... so...
this is the only Kinect game that has got my interest. i have to say it does look good
all the industry needs is to go back to the PS1 and PS2 days when games were diverse and imaginative. too many FPSs has narrowed the demographic so much that even games like RAC have been hit hard
