if by 3D they mean red and green glasses, then in theory the PS2 is 3D ready. for the new and best technology you need shutter glasses and for shutter glasses you need HDMI 1.4... so 1.2 doesn't come close
maybe through an add on box, but not natively
and then of course you wouldn't be able to watch 3D movies unless they also had a Blu-ray add on
yeah that's a good point actually, i've been considering that. Kinect could be at the top of Amazon for instance and the MOVE could be at 4, 8 and 12 and yet it would appear that Kinect sold more... but what would be the sales if you added the three MOVE sales together compared to the Kinect figure at the top?

for me it would be a 360 but there are too few games on that system to tempt me yet
MS are handing the future to PSN. every console they sell with no HDD or only 4G is another console that devs won't be able to sell their DLC on. there are now 50 million PSN user and all of which can buy and store lots of DLC, while Live as 25 million users, out of which only 13 million are gold members and some of these won't have a HDD... not to mention the fee to get on too.
the more successful the 360s with no HDD, the more devs will support the larger market. <...

having seen the latest footage of Halo being played, i still do not understand why it gets such hype. it's just a typical and rather old fashioned looking FPS... what the hell is the draw? lack of alternatives? gameplay? rapid fanboyism? what is it?
in the last two months, yes. enjoy while it lasts. it'll go back to what it was very soon. the PS3 outselling the 360 every year.
i don't think they give a damn to be quite honest. they just see it as more people on PSN and more people to get their friends (who own a 3000) on PSN.
i'd say wait to be honest. you might as well get the best of the best. you'll be spending 100s of hours on it for sure

you know, i keep reading all the technical stuff and the 360 always comes out on top, then i pop in GOW3, Uncharted2 and KZ2 and i scratch my head. are 360 1st party devs really THAT bad?
bottom line is the PS3 is harder to develop for, has been out over a year less than 360 and is less powerful than the 360 and yet has the most remarkable games!!!

but it wouldn't hurt anyway, the end is spongy :)
