the dominance is about to come to an end in worldwide sales, when Kinect and MOVE releases.
no because Sony are catering to the Hardcore too with KZ3, Socom and other games will come along those lines
Sony are now aiming at a fifteen year lifecycle with a ten year crossover... mark my words
@Zech thanks
@wages of sin
i know what it sounds like but i just can't escape what i see as the truth. if someone proves me wrong then that's fair enough.
if you look at the media in general, they use a previous game as a standard (given that that game was exceptional) at the moment we have 'will it be a GOW3 beater' or 'will it be an Uncharted2 beater?' or 'will it be a KZ3 beater?' and just recently we'...
i think it's now plain to see that MOVE actually works as Sony said it would and that 3D also adds to the gameplay. people may not want motion gaming or 3D, but the point is (i repeat) IT WORKS. now i'm off to see if i can find a Kinect thread that mentions how accurate Kinect is
if third parties don't take a risk with Cell/Blu-ray soon, Sony will be the leaders in ALL gaming genres.
guys, when not lit the sphere is white, that sphere is yellow. the light IS on
whats the point of this article ?
Jesus, devs have been annoyed at the sales on Wii and how it's narrowed the demographic down to basic games and now MS are going to take that and make it worse. soon the biggest demographic will be the casuals and that means less and less great games to play
this is GT fella. GT! do you know your history?
just got owned in the Halo pic fest thread so i thought i'd come here to lick my wounds. lol
have you noticed how games are getting compared now. it's always: 'this is a KZ killer' or 'this is a GOW3 killer' or 'this is an uncharted2 killer'. ever wondered why? setting standards is what Sony do
@Clizzz. actually those pictures look just as plain as the others. like i said, it's almost as if the whole game is bland in order to avoid problems with textures and human features. the characters don't look like they fit into the world. wear is the action?
yeah, and it wasn't a picture of KZ3 either lol. my mistake. is it the graphics that make Halo so popular though? it seems like every other FPS always betters the graphics
it's almost as i...
but i don't see anything in those screenshots that blows me away. it just looks like a typical generic shooter. granted i've not played it so perhaps it gets it's hype from its playability, but graphically it really is plain
ok, that list sounds interesting, but please don't compare it to KZ3 or KZ2 for that matter. it's just not in the same league
but for Sony to broaden the market and not just sell to PS3 owners, they have to somehow convince those that bought the Wii for pointless wagglefests at drunken parties, to pay for a console, game and new controller.
that is where Sony are going to struggle
but, having said that: Kinect will sell more this Christmas and then MOVE will begin to outsell the Kinect in the following year and beyond. Blu-ray and 3D films could be the bullet points to persuade Wii...
a fad is something people buy, play a couple of times and then put away in a drawer forever... the Wii fits that bill perfectly...
trouble is, MOVE could have the same problem with certain consumers.
and we really need to stop with this whole 'it's just a Wiimote' the big difference isn't the accuracy or the 1:1 response, the big difference is tracking in 3D space and tracking the orientation of the controller. in a Wii games you just flick i...
buy a 360 then, they're more reliable
lol... is this a cock grabbing bonding session?
seriously, why would a PS3 owner be bothered about reach? enjoy the game, we'll just be playing KZ3 with the MOVE in 3D
sales matter only when it suits you lot lol. how is Alan Wake doing by the way?
Christ this could have been anything. these articles are stupid. i'm sure a PS2 could have been accused of starting a fire or two. i prefer PS3, but you have to be fair
