Right. Ridiculous they cried about that too. And Guardians is one of my fav games (not gameplay wise) but apart from that, the game was just made with so much stinking love and respect and hard work, that aside from its shortcomings with the gameplay the story and characters were simply fantastic and the journey throughout space was an absolute freaking blast and one of the best and most enjoyable story driven games I’ve played in a long time.

I agree. There was a sense of peace, even when you weren’t really doing anything (but say just taking in the sights or standing at the edge of a cliff, looking at the waterfall down below, with the music naturally coming into play at just the right moments) there was a sense of peace, loss, pain, but also hope.
Yeah, it really was such a different game. I respect that it was different and it’s approach was beyond anything I’d played before. I enjoyed it.
I remember playing Heavy Rain for the first time back in 2010 (feels like forever ago) but it challenged me as a father and a gamer. Mentally, my gosh, it pulled at my heart.
While Death Stranding didn’t do that, it was a unique experience and one I don’t regret having had.

My cousin watched a walkthrough on YT and said it looked awful, and I said “Come over and play it for yourself” and after doing so my cousin took the game home lol.
As someone who played both and beat both games, I personally think Days Gone is a better game.

Ok, while I disagree and think it’s the best God of War game overall (although it was lacking in the EPIC boss fights) throughout the entirety of the game, and we did see many of the same enemies (trolls) I can say that was an issue, and a few other little things, I do think it’s the best one.
