I’ll just wait and see when it “officially releases” but I’m looking forward to it and expect to not know what I’m getting (while also knowing what I’m getting, considering the first game) but knowing it’s Kojima, and he’s a unique individual with a mind I don’t ever want to infiltrate haha.

I’d love to see a story driven (wide linear) game for LOTR based on someone interesting, like Gandalf or Gimli even haha, just someone aside from Gollum, who I like as a character but I also wonder how deep and fun the game will be, knowing we’ll be using a lot of stealth.

Yeah, Sony knows what they’re doing when it comes to these kinds of games, and with Insomniac, I mean, they really hit it outta the bar with the first Spidey game in 2018! Miles Morales, another awesome game in its own right.

I hear you. Another KZ game (with Guerrilla Games having matured so much with Horizon, that’s a dream I want to see happen. A return to that iP.) I can only imagine how stunning I’d look now, but also to where the devs could take the story/characters.

Well said. Really, when looking at the jump from GTA5 to RDR2, I’m in disbelief, because that jump is mind blowing. RDR2 still blows me away today, with the rich details in animation, world detail, the living breathing world, and the dialogue that NPC’s have with Arthur or one another.

Hmmm, I’m thinking your prediction won’t come true. Rockstar’s engine and their work on display in the likes of RDR2 can still compete and in some areas beat other open world games nowadays, alongside story driven linear games.
