Yeah, if it was Uncharted Drakes Fortune I don’t doubt we’d be like “WOOOOOOW” lol. But I don’t see it so much here. And I’m a diehard ND can.

The original, as you said, pushed the PS3 to its limits. What I’m seeing here is PS4’s models of Joel and Ellie (I could be wrong, since it’s built from the ground up, just my assumption or comparison tho) from some flashback scenes to compare in part 2, to a vast improvement to the likes of Tess and Bill, since they weren’t in Part...

Yeah the remaster still does look incredible today. I can understand improving the gameplay (to fit more in line with the sequel’s brutal combat/motion matching technology) and I don’t doubt it’ll play fantastic, but it’s too soon for a remake IMO. But also, it doesn’t NEED a remake.

Gameplay, in terms of animation, feel dated to me, but nonetheless it still looks great (animation wise) and feels brutal as ever when playing Joel specifically.

I just don...

It does hold up well, I agree.

Also, is it just me or does it not look “AMAZING” I don’t know how to explain it. Like, it looks amazing, but I also remember how visually remarkable the pre rendered cutscenes look still, and while I can clearly see a visual difference at certain points and a much greater level of detail in character models like Tess, and Bill, Joel to, but Ellie I’m not like impressed with. Not that her character looks bad, but I don’t know, it seems like c...

“Plus, feel immersed with improved effects and enhanced exploration and combat.”

Does the ENHANCED exploration mean players will be able to explore new locations?

Just curious, that stood out to me haha.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I’ve been “Wow’d” by game trailers (and movie trailers) only to be disappointed with the actual game/movie.

Speaking to this trailer though, it didn’t wow me, however I liked what I saw, in respects to the campaign, it looks interesting and I think it’ll be good and well done. I enjoyed the MW game a few years back (built on that new engine or whatever) I had a darn good time with the campaign! I don’t expect this to disappoint in that regard. ...

Yeah, I’m looking forward to this one. The fresh gameplay mechanics and creative idea for the story, along with the intriguing world, have me sold.

Should be a joy to play and experience!

LOL. Love this comment. I don’t come to these specific articles often at all, but now that I know @darthv71 does this, and that you’ll probably be in the comments, possibly replying to him in the near future, like this or something even better than this, I’ll be looking for these articles for the forceable future haha!

Oooh, I do want to see more of this! The cinematography, story premise, gameplay (yes, just like QD’s games, there’s gameplay here, not just cutscenes!) which looks engaging and thrilling, and lastly...those graphics, my how visually amazing this looks🤯

I’m keeping my eyes out for this from this point on!

Nice. I hope you continue to really enjoy 3 and 4!

I understand you not liking 4 as much, because of the more serious tone. Some of my friends and I still discuss to this day the approach to 4, and why we appreciate the more serious tone, but also feel it’s still Uncharted at heart. And others explain why they didn’t like it, which is always an interesting and enjoyable conversation to have with them. I personally wanted the more serious tone to happen after Uncharted 2, a...

I understand what your saying. And I agree, this such thing shouldn’t be applied to every game, regardless of said dev team making it popular and gamers liking that style of gameplay.

I wouldn’t want all dev teams to jump on the “What’s popular” style of gameplay/mechanics, all because this dev did it, and fans loved it, and there’s a place for that in the market, and if we adopt that as well we’ll pull in more people. Each dev team should strive to be as creative as possi...

Thank you for this. I believe that’s exactly how others explained this. My mistake for not saying it right. Much thanks!

“Imagine being stuck on a ledge, waiting for the headshot, lining it up and just as you pull the trigger Nate runs out of grip and falls to his death!” 😂I imagined this happening, and me saying “What the F Naughty Dog! This Stamina crap isn’t fun, it’s F pissing me off” only to then admire the work they did put into for the visuals haha.

But yeah, controllers are to expensive for this to exist. I mean, Days Gone and the losing gas was neat (more so in theory) than ...

Lmbo right. We’ll have nightmares that’ll get worse as time goes by, and that’ll require therapy! And when the therapist asks us to show them the photo...they’ll need to see a therapist themselves😂

I can’t unsee this😭

"A lot of the stuff that happens early on are prototypes of design things that eventually make it in [to a game]," Scherr explained. "We were looking to do some interesting things with the climbing mechanics [in Uncharted 4]... the long story short version of that is that we did all these interesting things with a stamina bar, trying to make it feel more challenging."

“However, this idea ultimately got scrapped as the Uncharted 4 team felt it "got i...

The bow combat was a sight to see. I believe it’ll just add to the overall VR experience, to bring a closer connection to the characters (feel like the character more) but adds another level of immersion to the world/action. I’m so glad we have

I think the climbing might make me feel a bit to immersed in the world (sense of fear on the end of a high mountain ledge haha) but I look forward to it all.

So much beauty to explore in what looks to be a great ...
