Both games are kinda boring to me, they're all visuals first good times second. The MP section is better but I still get bored of that pretty quickly.
After games like Demon's Souls and LBP it's hard for me to see the value in 20hours tops.
ND to me still haven't toped Jak, those were real gamer games, with good challenge and variety.

Common Demon's Souls wasn't that hard. Bionic Commando rearmed on super hard, most of you guys wouldn't be able to pass the first level. Now that was a hard game.

I do understand what Carmack is trying to say. He basically is saying that once consoles get to a certain point, what's the point of buy the next one IF it doesn't offer any better performance. Because it's hit the roof.

I do agree, I don't get bored of games because it isn't my only source of entertainment. I'm a fitness junky and that is a huge hog for my attention, I also have a son which is an even bigger hog for attention.
