If you look at how fast the PS3 sold compared to the 360. The PS3 was the fastest selling hd console last gen. Not that it was the most expensive consle last gen also.
It doesn't take a genius to see that the PS4 was going to outperform the xbone.
Worldwide sales helped the PS3 surpass the 360.
I think a lot of people underestimated the Playstation brand. Unless M$ is willing to pay. You can bet the that titanfall 2 will end up on the PS4 as well...

The 2nd titanfall will come to the PS4. EA won't be able to pass up that money, seeing as the PS4 console numbers are outpacing the xbone.
