This generation isn't over yet, so I guess I don't know what you mean be "end". The sales winner doesn't end until they all stop selling consoles, and the PS3 was planned for longevity. I suspect PS3's will be seilling long after the Wii or 360.
"Just had a look on vgchartz..." - I stopped there.
Why exactly? Do you have set price points on things that you just refuse to buy until they're at that price? I guess when something's more than I would like I just think to myself "Well, I just need to save up $xx more than I had planned/hoped."
Is that $50 really worth holding out for if you actually want one? I can see not being interested in the Vita and not buying one, but if you want one...
This is my big issue with the PS4. They had better make PS3 PSN purchases available via Gaikai soon after the PS4 launches or it will greatly decrease my interest in DD.
I agree, it will be a little while before it would be smart to consider not offering physical copies, but I think Sony will be really pushing DD this generation to get prepared for it. They've always been the ones pushing media formats with the PS1 having the first CD drive, the PS2 with the first DVD drive and the PS3 with the first Bluray drive. I always wondered if they would push another media format with the PS4 and that is what DD will be for them, with Bluray as the alternative. ...

I have never went and picked up a phsyical game because I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find it in the future...
I don't have an Xbox so I don't know about XBL, but how are the prices on PSN outrageous? They sell them at the same or lower price than you would find them at a store (brand new). I haven't seen the practive with PS3 games, but Vita games are $5 cheaper on PSN than their physical counter parts.
The only real argument you can make is that the PSN doesn't have the variety you can find by shopping various stores. You can typically find stores that are having ...
-Great games will also sell many more copies than those that aren't as good.
-The people that build games aren't getting any extra money from microtransactions or DLC. Likewise they aren't losing money without it unless a company goes under for some reason they get a paycheck.
-Publicly traded companies are rarely coming up with things like this to keep from going bankrupt, they just want their bottom line to get bigger. More profit is what they're aiming for...
Borderlands is another example. They released solid content for each of the games that really is worth picking up to add to the already awesome content that was released.

You can't just flash that kind of speed around here. Tuck that back in your pocket before someone notices or it'll be your life.
I'm hoping 1TB minimum.
45Mbps here and no caps.
When Sony first entertained the idea of not putting a disc drive in the PS4 I thought they were nuts considering our internet infrastructure. However, with Gaikai and being able to download in the background I could actually see that idea working. I'm glad they aren't doing it yet, but I have a feeling with the Vita and PS4 they will be pushing to make it more common place.
You can get PC hard drives at 1TB for less than $100 and 2TB for less than $150. They aren't that expensive.
I really hope you're about 8 years old.
Pretty sure they mentioned it could be enabled/disabled.
If you were hacked multiple times it was your own fault. Nobody hacked your PS3 to get your info unless you were careless, in which case you were a victim of phishing or something similar and no hacking was involved.
How exactly does the Vita suck? And if price is your motivation for that comment you don't really understand what it means to say a product sucks.
What was wrong with Resistance on the Vita? I quite enjoyed it.
And a damn fine one at that.
