I think it looked awful... I commented on it openly.. I still hold the same position.. I'm not going to miss Scalebound in the least.
I think it will sell regardless.. Obviously the lower the price, the better it will sell, but here in Canada when Microsoft's Elite controller dropped, it was selling for over $200 and it was sold out everywhere... If a controller can sell out at that insane price, I think the scorpio will do fine.
I just got invited to try the technical alpha the other day. Taking time off work tomorrow so I can play hahaha.

Sure the idea has similarities, but the userbase for Netflix is huge... It caters to a broader audience than games do.
I'm not sure why people are upset about the gear and light level not coming forward.. It's a new game.. If everything was carried forward, then would it really feel like a new game? or just another expansion?
This decision makes total sense to me.. Most of the fun (for me) is actually obtaining that new gear or sweet weapon.
I do agree though, that emotes, shaders and emblems should be brought forward.. That stuff doesn't affect gameplay at all and man...
I'm glad nothing will be carried forward.. It would feel too much like an expansion. I for one would rather an entirely new feeling game. I like the grind.. having 3 characters all at 400 I can only do so much at this point..
Besides... I'm sure after the initial release of Destiny 2, they'll bring back classic weapons like Gjallarhorn, revamped and packaged with new dlc or something. That way they can sell more units..

I completely agree with you. I read alot of people saying it had great narrative/story.. but I didn't get that from it at all.. Like was there even really a story? I think the story or narrative is kinda left open for interpretation.. which almost makes it better in its own unique way... but to say it had a great narrative just doesn't make sense to me lol.
Overall a really cool game though. One of my favorites so far this gen.
People are out of their mind if they think the Scorpio won't sell at $500.... The Elite controller sold out at its release... Thats a controller... not a machine capable of 4k..
