I have to agree, it was the top point in the series. My favorite AC and my favorite pirate game.
I also agree with the bit about Skull and Bones being a shoddy spiritual successor... It seems like an afterthought since you can't get off the ship. You don't play as a pirate which is a big disappointment, which leaves this seeming like a ship simulator rather than a proper pirate game. Ubisoft would do better to create an open world pirate gam...
hmmm... I purchased a couple monitors a while back that only do 60 hz because that's where the ceiling always was so the extra hz seemed like a waste at the time, as the price jump was substantial between the two.
Damn. wish i had opted for the 120hz monitors instead.

Agreed.. I just upgraded to an X as well as the Pro over the Christmas holidays... I do not want another upgrade cycle for at least a few years. My budget can't handle it.

I had a buddy pre-order a game from EbGames as they were doing a midnight release for the game.
I was playing at 10pm because it had technically already released in another time zone.
He then had to install the game after midnight when he picked it up and returned home, where I was able to pre-install it digitally and ready to go right at 10.

I agree, this game was never intended to be a AAA franchise. Undead Labs is a relatively small team. The first game sold for cheap but it sold well. I think they figured why change that?
