Apart from NMS, which had many people fooled, I am not one bit surprised that all the games on that list failed to impress...
I'll probably get alot of dislikes for this, but I honestly couldn't stand the old format.. Why the f could you not shoot your gun and walk at the same time? It was so frustrating.
OMG that timer was the worst.. especially for people that like to experiment and explore and get all the collectibles and everything. This is good news haha.
Like me, maybe alot of people boycotted the game simply because they bundled IW and MW together.
I would have been happy to buy the remaster if it was sold separately. Instead of getting some of my money, they got none. Clearly alot of people voted with their wallets, which is great.
The congested release window is part of the problem as stated.. We all starve for the majority of a year, and then wham! Your wallet takes a big hit with all of these titles releasing at the same time of year. That coupled with the fact that a new game is $80 in Canada... thats for the base game... You want a deluxe or gold edition, you're forking out even more.

officially only once.. the game never had a release date initially. people kept speculating 2015. when they announced a 2016 release date, people called it a "delay".. even though there was never an official release date announced by HG. So officially, it was only delayed once. .

Agreed. Easily the best game they've made. Too bad we'll probably never see a season 2.

Look at the elite controller.. that's a controller, that sold out at $200(CAD) at launch.
Surely a 4k capable console will sell. If people are willing to drop that kind of cash on a controller, then why not a console?

I'ts not even been released yet and it's already outdated... hopefully this isn't true, or it is bound to lose a large portion of its potential fanbase, not to mention all the third party developers that will be more interested in taking there ideas and implementing them on a more powerful console.
I've had my gun fail to fire after taking my mask off... so annoying.. Also sometimes when I put my mask on, It doesn't appear to be on.. kinda nice because I can see more clearly, but takes away from the immersion.
I gave up on this game after the beta lol
Activision can either sell them separately and get some of my money, or bundle it and receive zero of my money. :)

Anyone who likes survival games, The Long Dark is an absolute must!
It's relaxing, slow paced, but loads of fun. Probably my favorite survival game.
Punishing weather, predators (wolves, bears), crafting, hunting.
Hunger, thirst, temperature, fatigue and inventory management.
There is no map, so getting lost in bad weather, lost in fog, blizzard, etc makes you feel a real sense of "Oh crap, I need to find shelter". It's usually bad decisio...
