Not sure any game disappointed me more this gen. I was excited for years, given the TeamIco pedigree.
Then it releases and it's a choppy, buggy, loose fitting mess. Nothing felt right aside from the art style itself. I couldn't play more than an hour of it before stopping. It felt like the worst of Unity Engine and I'm not even sure of they used Unity.
Really bummed by it.
Yes, the long game of making hot garbage for their decent consoles but also making said garbage available on much stronger PCs so nobody cares.

I think he was referring to the series. Jaffe did the first, it was a big hit and handed to Cory. He didn't want to mess it up then or now.
I highly doubt Jaffe would be given a game like this anymore. He seems to be in a sort of developer purgatory of sorts.
I didn't doubt the game as much as hold some reservations for it and I couldn't be happier to check it out in a few days. It's one thing to grab a single 10/10 but a flock of them is telling and when the lowest score is an 8/10...yeah.
Can't wait. Not a fanboy but this is why I game on a Playstation. They get it with regard to quality of experience.

Loved the first one. I'd never play in tight 3rd person but it's a neat feature.
Unless it's free to Division owners it's BS. That game was a mess and they basically say they used it as a beta.

It had to change to continue but we'll see if it's for the better. I'm a huge GoW fan and I still have small reservations, tbh.
Still, the only way I skip it is if it's pulling in sub-7/10 scores.
Zero problem with this. Both systems have been pretty much done for a couple years and I say that as someone that still plays a ton of PS3. Surprised it lasted this long.
I'd give a new MG game a chance if Konami weren't massive c****. They destroyed any hope I have of it being decent. I even gave Survive an honest chance during the open beta but it was trash. I want to continue my love of the series but complete c**** own the franchise so I doubt I'll be able to.
I'd happily buy a good remake of MG-MGSV.
I'd absolutely give a new, legit MG a fair chance.
I just have zero hope Konami will do anything goo...

Game was announced for PS4 back in 2014...when the game was only sorta worn-out and terrible. There's a whole video on the creator talking about the challenges, what's coming soon, etc.
