The first cod was on the pc only and was completely using the quake3 engine. still uses some of it today.
It's a good fun game, think people take it and other shooters too seriously, as long as your having fun. it's a win.

1080p is very nice if you have the rest to go with it. In this gen with current ram and gpu's 1080p is easily possible, but you would not have the fedelity you have in most games, i/e god of war 3, uncharted 1-2-3. Forza4 etc.
But i don't want next gen system pushing 1080p x4aa with the same looking graphics as this gen, would be a waste.

The game is mostly the same. Same textures,filtering,lighting.
PS3 enjoys some faster loading of textures, and 360 has slightly better framerate.
But they are 99% same.

I like the 360 controller, i don't like the way the analogue sticks are placed, dualshock are positioned better. I don't mind weight of either. I do like the triggers on the 360 as well.
